A few seasons ago, Pete discussed that penalties would be put into place for teams that used 1 formation in a game. Well...that did not happen today, so has something changed that we don't know about Pete? Also, this guy has no coaches, so shouldn't that also be a penalty? Seems as if this guy got 2 advantages instead of penalties for this, so something in your game engine is horribly wrong Pete.

I agree with you,penalty is to few for playing everytime the same play,but you have to review your defence against SG4.
Spitting Llamas has everytime 4 WR and you only 2 CB and he throws everytime on WR, so your 4 LB was useless apart blitzing. |

Yes, but in scouting his games last year, this defensive formation was used successfully against him.

the gamelog, the one you guys cannot see, tells me there is nothing wrong with the engine. The situation of a lopsided playbook was determined, and a "penalty" for it was in place. To me, it seems the win happened due a more aggrive gameplay paired with a good portion of luck. Going for all those 4th downs, and "winning" most of them, is what we call "he has balls". The outcome of this game would have been more as we like it if some more of the 4th down conversions would have missed. On top, he was playing one defense formation all game long, again with either luck or really good depth chart ideas. I mean, if you manage to put your strongest personal on each single position in your defense this speaks for the coach, IMO.

He was just superior to your coaching, sorry to say. Check his teams rating, and check yours. You would have won easily if your coaching was comparable. But, this is nothing to blame you, the engine or anyone else. I face such situations quite often where I lose against less rated teams, or win versus higher rated teams. It is fine that way. |

So let me get this straight....because he has NO coaches, and his team is ranked less than mine...his coaches (which he has none) were superior to mine? Makes no sense, but this game does not make sense at times either.

Considering this is my first ever discussion with you, it does not make sense at all. If you truly meant that penalties should be in place for running 1 formation, he should have been penalized a lot more. My offensive game plan had a lot of plays in it, his had 1 ONLY. That should have been a HUGE HUGE HUGE penalty, but it looks like it is not enough to prevent anyone from running just 1 play all the time. In that way, it does not make sense. So I stand by my comment as it truly does not make sense at times. Nothing wrong with that comment as it is VERY TRUE |

There is no point in arguing about this any further.
I answered all your questions, spent my time to dive into game logs, just to make sure everything was as it should, and you say thank you that way. You didnt even get there was a huge huge huge penalty involved, and he still was better with his material on field. Wish you well, may your coaching lead to a win over the other manager, one day.
