Another 4th Qtr comeback by Buzi. I'm surprised you didn't use your MOTY, PJ, with this almost a must win and having a bye week to rest. Nice win for hourt over Hell Hounds (and nice prediction, Buzi). My early season mojo looks to be wearing off a bit, last two games against lesser opponents were close games.

You know better than me that MOTY is a sort of gamble and the result is not certain at all.
I lost against you playing MOTY and vice versa. I thought to keep it for a late need in the season. Anyway I am very happy for Buzi, but this defeat, happened like this, is too much even for me... I still not able to undestand what I do wrong when I lose and what I was able to do when I win. I devoted too much time to this game compared the results I acheved, it is time to change ... |

Ptdoc is right. I probably would have used MOTY in your case, seeing that you have a bye in Tuesday. For three quarters your defense was just incredible. My first TD seemed fair, considering the two failed FG attempts. The second TD was one of the most brutal endings I have ever seen. Two sacks, putting my offense back in 3rd and 28 with one minute to go. This should have been it !
Please hang in there. You will make the playoffs, I am sure. And we meet again pretty soon. If ever you MOTY me then, I will understand. Or MOTY DC, your call. But I am more likely to be in your reach as I twice play Marife and once DC. |

Sorry Buzi I cannot agree about moty.
I thought to have a full developed team and from theoretical point of view ready to fight to win any match. My target was try to really fight to win something this season. Moty can help to win only one game but win one game was not my goal. 4-3 is not a record of a winning team so I simply misgjudged my chances. |

My start was even worse last season. Not enough to stay in Elite, but still enough to make it to the PO with a decent run. Your team is still one of the best. Who knows? Luck was maybe not on your side until then.
Anyway, despite a strong schedule for all of you, you are still the most dominant region. Steve and Luluba are still on your way, but with WW out of the picture, your chances for the Bowl are real. Last edited on 2020-09-20 07:04:37 by Kanar |

And his start was worse last season. And who knows what will happen. My league record against Marife is 0-4. It’s one team I don’t seem to be able to figure out. Your record is 3-0. This could make for two more wins for your team. For our rematch I know that I cannot be this lucky all the time. This was the second one in a row with a miraculous comeback in the last seconds. So, anything is possible. As a SeaDevil team we have to accept that we are in the toughest region in regards to top teams. No other region has this level of quality with many teams being able to compete at the same level. Just look at the ELO ranking. The risk is that this getting too expensive. |

I know what you mean regarding the MOTY situation. The last two times I remember using the MOTY resulted in losses (to you and Kanar). Just stating (and apparently Buziano and Kanar agree with me) that if you intend to use a MOTY this season, that was as good of as an opportunity as any. But clearly you have done a great job leading your team thus far.

As of today, the SeaDevils are back to having possibly three teams in the playoffs. DC is seeded first, Munich 5th and Baltimore 6th. Lt's keep it up. And, again, we are the best region considering the wins/losses balance.
This being said, it has been a bad day for us. Only two wins but two losses. This usually only happens when we play each other. But this time, it was actually our best team from ptdoc to drop his first loss of the season. |
