My apologies for the late rankings this week. It'll be shorter one because of my tardiness. By the time you are reading this week 7's game's will likely have finished so hopefully I don't look too wrong.

The Elephants have decided to make it very entertaining with their victory over the Bridges!

New team at the top, we'll see how long this lasts! Sorry Jonny!

2. (4-1) Willemstad Bridges (1)
"The Bridges look better this season than either of their past two championship seasons." And then they lose. More a nod to the Elephants than an indictment of the Bridges.

3. (5-0) Home Malones (3)
Big showdown against the Elephants on Tuesday should be a fun one.

4. (5-1) Salt City Pirates (4)
Playing the Elephants today after a beatdown of the Hounds.

5. (5-1) San Diego Blitz (6)
A nice win against DC sets them up for a showdown against the Blitz.

"They'll get to see how the Calamari shoot themselves in the tentacles" No tentacle shooting here, just a close win, followed by a loss to the Blitz. Looks like the top of the NC is fairly close. PR Chaser and the Ticats are next on this very difficult trip.

"an absolute gauntlet... the next eight games." 1-1 is a solid start. Ravens tomorrow is one of the tougher ones, we'll see if they belong in the top 10.

"Ravens twice in 3 games starting next Saturday." This is likely the key stretch of the season here.

"Another tough one tomorrow against the Lions could put them under .500 for the first time since returning to Elite." And now they are 4-2, but their next 7 games consist of DC, Bridges, Hounds, Ravens and PR Chaser.

11. (4-1) Diorite Lions (7)
No longer undefeated after visiting Hamilton and the TiCats. They'll get the disappointing BoneCrushers and surprising Mascots this week.

12. (3-2) Baltimore Ravens (8)
"with PR Chaser tomorrow they can't be looking ahead." Not a bad loss, PR Chaser looks very good. Big game today against the ducks and they'll play again 10 days later. Winner is still in good shape for the playoffs, loser drops behind.

13. (4-1) Free Agent Mascots (12)
Looking at the schedule I don't really see many spots for this team to slip up. I think they and the Magpies could give Admirals 2 playoff teams again.

14. (3-2) BobBoy Magpies (14)
"Bobbers on Tuesday should be interesting." Somewhat close game, but never really in doubt. They'll need to get revenge against the Mascots at season's end. Bridges Tuesday.

15. (3-3) Hell Hounds (16)
PR Chaser on Tuesday could be important if the Hounds want to keep up with the Lions.

16. (4-2) Sønderborg 84-pounders (18)
Sonderborg looked good against the Falcons, but the Bobbers on Tuesday won't be so easy.

17. (3-3) Saker Falcons (13)
"It's possible this team wins its next 4 games." Or goes 0-2 with 2 poor performances against the Dumplings and Sonderborg. Lions/Hounds games over the next couple weeks will determine their season.

18. (3-3) Spacebar Kraken (19)
3 losses by a total of 6 points, all to teams ranked in the top 11. Unfortunately with the topheavy NC, I don't see a way they make it without knocking off the Pirates/Malones.

Handled business against the Bandits and Knights. Next Saturday's game against the Mascots is a good barometer before getting into a couple division games.

20. (2-3) Juggernaut (23)
"They'll move into that second spot if they can defeat Rome on Tuesday." And into the two spot they go. Beating your rivals in convincing fashion is an excellent way to get a ticket back to elite.

21. (1-5) Bonecrushers (20)
"They announced they weren't dead" Then lost their next 2. With the return of PR Chaser I don't see the BoneDomers returning to elite next season.

22. (2-4) 2020 - RETURN OF THE JEDI (21)
"Malones and Elephants this week" Played the Malones very tough, didn't show up against the Elephants. Pete's playing for pride at this point. Elephants are rolling and Steve is doing Steve stuff.

23. (1-5) Rome Centurions (17)
"before taking on 6 straight teams ranked lower than them." Not ranked below them anymore. I don't have any idea what's happening here, but they are only playing against relegation now.

24. (2-4) Norfolk Dumplings (25)
A very strong win against the Falcons has them back in the Thunder don't get relegated race. Mascots, Magpies, Blitz isn't a favorable next 3 games though.

25. (1-4) Werewolves (24)
"schedule doesn't get any easier with dates against Sonderborg, Ravens, and the Bobbers." Lost the first 2 and the 3rd isn't looking good either. Still 2 games against the Stars to keep from being relegated.

26. (0-6) Jackalopes (26)
The Jacks decided to rebrand amidst the disappointing season and now find themselves 3 games behind relegation.

27. (0-5) Poznan Knights (27)
"Tuesday's game against Rio should be a good gauge for both teams." Was a fairly close match but the Knights are still looking for that elusive first win.

28. (0-5) Bretzfeld Bandits (28)
This week isn't look so friendly with back to back Monarch teams. They'll get a Pete rematch next Saturday.

29. (1-5) BETIS SANPOL (29)
How do I know? I'm clairvoyant! jfmjfm tried to prove me wrong against the Ducks and Lions, and will have the same difficulty against a suddenly hot Ticats squad.

30. (2-4) Social Distance Runners (30)
Sad to see such a good team and manager needing to rebuild midseason. I was really looking forward to our next matchup now that my team is grown up. This time, I'll be the grizzly veteran team standing in your young plucky way.

31. (0-6) Helsinki Gangsters (31)
Still showing The Gangsters as the #1 pick.

I can just hope that all of bad things (or doing no things) for my defense was just in this game vs Pirates.

To make things even more worse, Bridges missed 28 & 39 FGs and were just one or two seconds away from trying game winning FG from 47 yards. And they lost in OT. Blitz get their win.

Pete won too. So pressure once again on Elephants.

Not sure I deserved to win that one...but I'll take it! I guess either of us could/should have ended it in the 4th quarter, but the kickers came up short.
