Of 14 human teams inside the region, 9 teams have qualified for the Supercup playoffs, plus all 4 teams from Elite league did also qualify.
We have for the 1st round tomorrow: Space Kraken (ELITE) @ Constanta Sailors Leverkusen Leopards (ELITE) @ dERBENT CONVICTS Orono Ancient Snappers @ Northern Storm Dayton Triangles @ Lutetia Chaotic Smile Dnipros Dendroids @ Cottbus Cobras Olivet Comets @ Paxtang Black Panthers Caplit e salama @ Ruhrpott Miners (CIVIL WAR) Terrifying Hamsters @ Trnava Saints The Nasty Thunders @ Suchdol Minors Angeles lions @ Berlin Racoons Bretzfeld Bandits @ Black Dragons (ELITE) Finis Coronat Opus (ELITE) @ Budapest Janitors Of those matchups, I pick 11-2 for the 1st round, eventually a bit optimistic. I already sent him a welcome mail. Well, good sign, the manager did make the licence already. But they picked a bad division to start. 
For my team, the Elite season will end at the weekend and I will return to the region. The retirements end of last season did hurt very much and the rest was not up the test, but I did not see a reason to not play for the championship last year, even with that looming. Supercup and CoC are still active for my team. Might end also in the next few days, so the season might be over fast for me, or will continue. I think I have a good chance to play another round on both competions, but we will see. |

Right now, it looks like my team setup idea I did test the past few seasons was a fail and I have a new one in my mind. But I don't want to do the big makeover before my guys hit their next prime peak, so likely I will shift the makeover until season 65. But maybe I will get impatient. |

Initially I did focus on giving up the 2nd skill training regarding pos/vis, means, in the past I had every position equally on pos/vis and decided to try to do vis training on offense positions after cap reached (like not further than 43, once 43 was hit for pos, cat and agi, start training vis, but not before) and the same regarding pos on all defense positions. The goal was to have the key skills faster on cap level and by that a deeper bench on that level. But that did not work out quite OK, so I did start to train vis/pos back to the cap level faster. Then I did shrink the roster to a bare minium to avoid further wage grows, but because of that and some bad retirement years, my exp level is quite low now and does not help to play elite. All that does happen since ages under a revolving roster strategy with say 4 to 6 new players every season. Now I like to try to pack 10-12 per season for say 5 seasons and drive that roster to a peak. In theory, they should all be at max exp for 3 to 5 seasons, so no issue on that side for some time. Then the retirements will pile up and I need to refocus. That's the theory. Not sure it can be done that way, since the transfer market is quite bad right now. |
