Welcome to our Championship Day pre-match coverage.
Sepp-Gustl: RZA regulations dictate this. Today isn't about who qualifies for the Sea Devils Bowl. Today is about promotion to the Elite League. That is the ultimate goal of all managers in our League. The flight from MSY has already landed in MUC. The NC trophy is currently being loaded into a special transporter, built by the local car manufacturer BMW specifically for this occasion. Afterwards, it will be escorted by police directly to the English Garden where it awaits its new owners. What's the situation 480 miles south? Dragan: Thank you Sepp-Gustl. Here in Belgrade, the air crackles with tension, despite 37 °F. No rain is expected. The balls will fly well today. The trophy arrived from Saxony, Japan, or apparently now Thailand, from the Ghosts before yesterday. Many Scottish and Serbian fans took the opportunity to have their picture taken with it. I have rarely experienced such anticipation for a match. There is only one topic of conversation in all of Belgrade today. Back to you, SeGu. Sepp-Gustl: Thank you, Dragan. We can see on the screens that the trophy has been loaded and the convoy will be setting off shortly. Thousands of Munich residents are lining the route to see the trophy as it passes by. If I didn't have to work right now, I would be standing there too. I'm off to the studio. Butch, what can we look forward to today? ![]() Source: https://i.imgur.com/qhCfvT5.png Last edited on 2026-02-17 15:09:40 by hmpf22 |

Was hoping to do some sort of write up but im busy at work (BRING BACK TIMMY THE GREEK)
So here is a quick something Runners play Konjarnik for the right to be called Sea Devil Champion Season 63. This game has been played over many many years and seasons. The Runners have won 7 games, with The High Towers taking just 4. I am surprised with the longevity of both teams they have just 11 League games. The last was as far back as Season 54, a win for The Runners. It means nothing The High Towers are high powered in Season 63. The Distance Runners are one of the most decorated Sea Devils Teams in history. History wont count for anything, and i predict a High Tower win today 38-20 Last edited on 2026-02-24 16:02:39 by butchpt6 |

After being a little bit more than halfway into the S63, lets grade the first-round rookies of the Sea Devils S63 Draft so far. (The list goes from 1st pick overall to 13th pick, 12 because 1 is a BOT pick and 2 haven't played a single game. Also only league stats will be listed). #1 Uli Sonderegger, LB, Fuenlabrada Falcons - A. Uli has yet to disappoint for the 1st overall pick, as he is the standout player of a failing team. With 70 total tackles (70!), 6 interceptions, and 4 team/game MVPs, Uli could be a great player going forward. #2 Caros Silva, LB, Badalona Cheetahs - C+. Carlos has been doing...ok. I was considering moving him to B-, but he hasn't done as much as the Cheetahs wanted him to...because...the team...hasn't won any games. With 1 INT and 47 tackles, it is a decent stat line, but not for a 2nd overall pick. #3 Simon Falkesgaard, QB, Copenhagen Chargers - C+. Rookie QBs need to develop, so of course they are not going to look great in year 1. With 14 INT, 12 TD, 2352 yards, and 20 rushing yards...he has been...ok, but the INTs really hurt the team if there are 14 thrown in 9 games. #4 Gianni Danielson, OL, Black Knights - C. Not really much to say about OL, all that I can say is that averages a total of 10 blocks per game with 92 blocks in a total of 326 plays, but I do see improvement of this player being made. #5 (BOT PICK) #6 Wally Marat, LB, Minnesota Silver Foxes - B-. It's obvious to say that Wally was definitely not Minnesota's first choice, or maybe even second, but he has his ways of producing good stats. With a total of 44 tackles, 3 TFLs, and 3 sacks for 24 yards total as mostly a backup while playing all 9 of the games so far, I can see him producing better stats, and, maybe even get an Interception? #7 Tomás Álvarez, SF, PATAGONIA RAPTORS - D. Ouch. In 9 total games, with about 216 plays, he only has 9 tackles, that is an average of 1 tackle per game. I know he might mainly be a backup, but he has to get more involved than that. #8 Xú Mar, DL, Downriver Seals - C. Ok, so lets go over it shall we? In 7 total games played, he has had 159 plays, 11 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, and....a catch for 13 yards? What? I'm...uh..just going to ignore that and put him at a C, almost a C+ but has had a decent season either way. #9 Alton Schott, OL, Versailles Victors - UNGRADED. It's impossible to give a grade to a player who has been benched and hasn't played a single game for the entire season. #10 Sung Shin, LB, Union - B. Considering that this is now a team in the Admirals league, it would be confusing to grade this player, however this team was apart of the S63 Sea Devils Draft so this player needs to be included, and boy, this player is pretty good. In 9 games and 339 plays, He had 14 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 sack for 10 yards, and a Pick 6, making him a decent but good player, that's why I put him at B. #11 Kurtis Houston, LB, Baltimore Blue Crabs - A+. Wow, what a player. In 9 games and 626 plays total, he has 69 tackles and 6 TFL, 6 sacks for 52 yards, and 3 INTs. Enough Said, this player is really good in his 1st year. #12 Christian Vestergaard, LB, dERBENT CONVICTS - UNGRADED. It's impossible to give a grade to a player who has been benched and hasn't played a single game for the entire season. #13 Péter Komárek, LB, Rome Centvrions - B+. With 9 games and 498 plays under his belt, he has recorded 13 tackles, 2 TFLs, 2 sacks for 15 yards, and 2 INTs. It's a pretty good stat line for a first year player, and I can see him becoming better and better in Italy. Ok, that is 13 picks done, I will do the other picks later because I am tired, and if anyone wants to do the rest for me, then go ahead. Also I could do rookies of teams who are a team in the S63 Sea Devils league but weren't in the S63 Sea Devils Draft. But what is everyone's opinions on the grades? I enjoyed this post from a while back and meant to comment. Sorry for the delay but, as excitement grows for the next draft, here we go... I haven't trawled through the stats. Rather, I've gone back to my pre-draft analysis to see how highly I rated these prospects. Also, the gradings are as per Overpowerd's original post. #1 Uli Sonderegger, LB, Fuenlabrada Falcons - A - 9 on my list. Excellent physicals but slightly low brainpower for LB. #2 Caros Silva, LB, Badalona Cheetahs - C+ - My number 2. Excellent credentials other than low TW. #3 Simon Falkesgaard, QB, Copenhagen Chargers - C+ - My 46. Lot of physical development needed made him high risk. #4 Gianni Danielson, OL, Black Knights - C - 78 on my list because I didn't want OL. Is TW a bit low? #5 Lyba LB, BOT - 41: Risk that wouldn't increase speed. Otherwise decent prospect #6 Wally Marat, LB, Minnesota Silver Foxes - B- - My 23. Good prospect at CB or, if increases STR, at LB #7 Tomás Álvarez, SF, PATAGONIA RAPTORS - D - 7 on my list though low TW an issue for long-term development #8 Xú Mar, DL, Downriver Seals - C - My 22. I'd have him at LB though needed a bit better STR & SPD #9 Alton Schott, OL, Versailles Victors - UNGRADED - 77 on my list. Didn't want OL, but TW too low for decent OL? #10 Sung Shin, LB, Union - B - My 4. Top physicals and brains. Great value at 10 #11 Kurtis Houston, LB, Baltimore Blue Crabs - A+ - My 31. Risky as low STR & SPD but great if those developed. #12 Christian Vestergaard, LB, dERBENT CONVICTS - UNGRADED 10 on my list. CB or LB depending on final physicals #13 Péter Komárek, LB, Rome Centvrions - B+ - My number 1! Steal at 13. CB unless STR developed. |

Farewell, Süleyman Berger
Today, we say goodbye to a true SEA LIONS icon. Süleyman Berger, the last remaining player from our inaugural Season 48 roster, has played his final snap. From his early days as an elite Kick Returner to his breakout Season 51 with 11 touchdowns as a Wide Receiver, Süleyman always found a way to contribute. His transition to Tight End at age 31 was a masterclass in teamwork and intelligence, proving that being "smart" on the field is just as vital as raw speed. Süleyman retires at 34 with a staggering legacy: 137 career touchdowns, 6 MVP awards, and a perfect 100% blocking success rate. He stood tall through seven seasons in the Elite league, never complaining about his role and always mentoring the next generation. While he would have kept playing if asked, he steps aside with the same grace he showed on the field. Thank you, Süleyman, for 16 seasons of unwavering loyalty — you will always have a place in the SEA LIONS family. |

Welcome to Sea Devils Season Preview...
![]() Source: https://i.ibb.co/7dkF9kV7/SDSC.png Introducing to my left, a man who really doesnt need an introduction. He is the lynchpin the Foxes Defence. Many call him 'Mr Silver Fox'... he even sat at his teams Draft desk in Cinncinati over the last 3 nights. How was that experience Chad? CT - Ah man it was awesome, the owner needed my advice to help take the team forward and challenge the Corsairs this season. I was happy to help REP - Did the two girls on your arm help also? ![]() Source: https://i.ibb.co/wFTBTJ92/8097b9a2-e769-4ceb-9aae-a29f9e27b305.png CT - Nah man, they just wanted a pic with the main man - they were sat on The Bungals table, they werent with me REP - In the words of Ron Burgandy - Chad, I dont believe you. AC EAST
Glasgow Tigers – SDSC Rank: 2nd Devon Warriors – SDSC Rank: 5th Terrifying Hamsters – SDSC Rank: 12th Mainville Maulers – SDSC Rank: 23rd The AC East remains a three-horse race, as the Glasgow Tigers settle into their second season back from the Elite League into the real Elite League - Sea Devil Football. The Tigers have plundered 11 Division titles, 4 Conference Championships, and 1 Sea Devil Bowl in just 16 seasons — an impressive trophy haul that places them among the league’s modern powerhouses. Even more impressive, they have the third-most Elite League appearances among the current teams. Around the Sea Devils Sports Centre desk, the analysts are unanimous: Glasgow are the team to beat. They may have a point. In Season 63 The Tigers rankings were formidable, with a Rush offence ranked 2nd in the league and a defence that simply shut down everything (Ranked 4th and 1st). The Tigers will top the group comfortably, with the former Alpine Ducks Coach suggesting 16-0 in almost inevitable. The Warriors vs Hamsters Saga Continues Only two things are certain in life... Taxes, and every season someone claims that the Hamsters have been 'put back in their cage' While the Tigers dominate the headlines, the real soap opera of the AC East has been unfolding season on season between the Devon Warriors and the Terrifying Hamsters. Last season, many experts predicted Season 63 to be “Hamster Hour” — the long-awaited rise of the small but terrifying rodents to divisional dominance. Instead? The Warriors slammed the cage door shut.
After a couple of frustrating seasons, Devon roared back into form and finished five games clear, reminding everyone that they’re still one of the most disciplined outfits in the conference. Heading into Season 64, the Hamster hype train has slowed slightly. Chad gave his HOT TAKE : “I like the Hamsters… I really do. But every year y’all say the same thing: ‘This is the year the Hamsters are terrifying.’ Man… at some point you gotta terrify somebody important.” Most analysts believe the status quo will hold, with Devon continuing to rebuild and improve - he has the pedigree to hold the Hamsters at arms length SDSC Season 64 Prediction Glasgow Tigers — 16-0 Expect a mauling. Devon Warriors — 14-2 The Warriors keep the Hamsters firmly in the cage. Terrifying Hamsters — 11-5 A strong season, but just short of the big step. Mainville Maulers — 2-14 Unfortunately… they may be the ones getting mauled this year. |

AC North
Rome Torresina - SDSC Rank - 17th Baltimore Blue Crabs - SDSC Rank - 21st Fuenlabrada Falcons - SDSC Rank - 28th Durham Foxes - SDSC Rank - 30th There is a Constanta sized hole in The Sea Devils League these days, with marinul sailing off into the sunset without so much as a wave back to the dock. It isnt the first time The Sailors have gone belly up - and maybe in time we will get to see the 3rd version of Constanta Sailors. Where adversity lies however, opportunity arises. The North is now made up of three teams with very little experience. Infact Rome Torresina are considered the elder statesman of this league, having only been in existence for 3 seasons. It makes for an interesting dynamic and a fantastic opportunity for any one of these teams to make a playoff run. And once there - anything could happen. Chads take was "“Rome’s been around three seasons and somehow they’re already the wise old veterans of the division. That’s like showing up to a family reunion and realizing you’re the oldest cousin at 22.” He taps the desk. “But yeah… they’re the most stable team here. If somebody’s building the next Northern empire, it’s probably them.” Rome look best positioned, but The Blue Crabs, like Manta and Hamsters before them are everyone new favorite underdog. Their owner summed it up "We the kind of team that sneaks into the playoffs and suddenly everyone’s like: ‘Wait… how did they get here, and once you’re in the playoffs, man… weird stuff happens.” The Falcons are maybe too far behind, both in rating and wages, and the Foxes i suspect will turn BOT sooner rather than later. So who will step up... SDSC Season 64 Prediction Baltimore Blue Crabs — 10-6 Hey, what are they doing here? Rome Torresina — 9-7 Rome wasnt built in a day, and neither are Torresina Fuenlabrada Falcons— 4-12 No Spanish Inquisition needed, more Lira required Durham Foxes— 0-16 Sailors they aint |
