Five Ways to Predict the Next Location
Given the sequence Spitzbergen – Shetland Islands – Bergen – Kraków, five different calculation methods can be applied to estimate the next location. Each method relies on distinct logic, ranging from geographical to statistical to sports-based reasoning. 1. The Baltic Calculation The Baltic calculation uses directional navigation inspired by classical Baltic routes. Extending the bearing implied by the last two points (Bergen → Kraków), the trend moves southeast, projecting the next point toward the northern Aegean region. This method emphasizes a direct geographical path over exact coordinates. 2. The Mathematical Calculation The mathematical method applies linear regression to the latitude and longitude of the four locations. This statistically minimizes error and produces a predicted point at approximately 40.4° N, 24.0° E, corresponding to northeastern Greece near Kavala or Thasos. It is precise and reproducible, independent of any physical or historical context. 3. The Average Calculation This method calculates the mean displacement between points and projects one additional step. By smoothing extremes like Spitzbergen, it yields a conservative estimate slightly northwest of the regression result, again pointing to northern Greece or the southern Balkans. 4. The League Teams Calculation This creative approach analyzes the geographical locations of other teams in the league to identify patterns. By examining the distribution of playoff and division-winning teams, the next location is predicted based on clustering trends in central Europe. This method reinforces the mathematical and average methods, placing the next location within the southern Balkans to northern Greece corridor. 5. The Great-Circle Projection Using spherical geometry, this method calculates the shortest path over Earth’s surface through the given points. The great-circle projection confirms the southeast trend and aligns closely with the regression result, predicting a point in northern Greece, consistent with other approaches. Conclusion Despite differing assumptions, all five methods converge remarkably well. Northern Greece consistently emerges as the next location, demonstrating that the spatial trend is robust across both mathematical and creative approaches. |

This is Hammer Sports Park, home of the HAMBURG SEA LIONS
![]() Source: https://tillfelix.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/gemini_generated_image_cxzo6qcxzo6qcxzo-e1770395498387.png Dormant, almost asleep in the cold of Hamburg on a February Friday night. Tomorrow that will be different. Tomorrow it will show it’s true form. A mighty fortress, stacked with fearsome and prideful warriors. They derive their pride primarily from the fact that the HAMBURG SEA LIONS stadium has been impregnable for 15 consecutive home games. Yes, you’re reading this right: their winning streak at home is at 15
Over the course of now almost 2 seasons worth of games they scored 622 points while allowing only 231, which translates to an average score of 41:15. This season alone they allowed only 136 points in 7 home games, which are 19.4 per game… and no visiting team was able to score more than 28 on us since the streak started. Tomorrow’s the last home game of this season, and the SEA LIONS are ready to keep their house clean… for a fresh start to the second round of the postseason. With that being said: Welcome to Hammer Sports Park, Seattle Sea-Reapers ![]() Last edited on 2026-02-06 19:52:22 by Chrill |

SEA DEVILS MATCH OF THE WEEK
On Saturday, the Minnesota Silver Foxes will watch one of the most respected players in league history step onto the field for the final time. When the game ends, Chad Thurman will retire, closing a career that was as unique as it was admired — not only by his own fans, but across the entire league. Drafted in S54 as the 19th overall pick by the mystics, Thurman’s early career was quiet and unremarkable on paper. Limited playing time and modest production marked his first seasons, and few would have predicted what was still to come. But what Thurman lacked in early impact, he made up for with patience, discipline, and an unwavering work ethic. Those who knew him from the beginning often point to one defining trait: he always stayed grounded. Even as a young backup, Thurman approached the game with professionalism and humility. He studied film relentlessly, supported teammates, and never complained about his role. While others chased attention, he focused on understanding the game. Everything changed after his move to Minnesota. In S58, Thurman delivered one of the most surprising breakout seasons the league has ever seen. With over 100 tackles, nine interceptions, and six defensive touchdowns, he transformed from an overlooked linebacker into a defensive force. Quarterbacks quickly learned to respect his instincts and vision. The seasons that followed confirmed that this was no fluke. From S59 through S62, Thurman became the anchor of the Silver Foxes defense. He consistently produced interceptions, sacks, and momentum-shifting plays, often scoring at crucial moments. Yet despite the success, his attitude never changed. He remained approachable, respectful, and focused on the team above all else. What made Chad Thurman special was not just his production, but how he played the game. He relied on intelligence, positioning, and anticipation rather than raw athleticism. His reputation as a "Sure Tackler” reflected his style perfectly: dependable, efficient, and relentless. When he met a ball carrier, the play was over. As his career progressed and the physical peak slowly faded, Thurman adapted. His role shifted from explosive playmaker to steady leader, but his value remained undeniable. Younger players gravitated toward him, learning not just techniques, but how to carry themselves as professionals. Coaches trusted him implicitly, and fans trusted him completely. Perhaps most remarkably, Chad Thurman became a fan favorite far beyond Minnesota. Even opposing supporters respected him for his fairness, his consistency, and his quiet sportsmanship. He never played dirty, never sought headlines, and never forgot where he came from. When Thurman walks off the field on Saturday, he leaves behind more than statistics and highlights. He leaves behind a legacy of humility, perseverance, and respect. In a league often defined by noise and ego, Chad Thurman proved that staying grounded can still lead to greatness. His career may be ending, but his example will endure — in Minnesota, in the Sea Devils Region, and in the hearts of fans across the whole world. Thank you, Chad! ![]() Source: https://i.imgur.com/aZMOpVA.jpeg Who knows, maybe he'll stay on for another season. The final decision regarding the end of his career is still pending. Chad Thurman has announced at a recent press conference that S64 will be his last season, meaning that he will play for the Silver Foxes for one more season, after that, he is hanging up the cleats. Quote from Chad "I respect people congratulating me on a career so great that I have pride in, but I still have some fuel left in my tank, but I think that tank will run empty after my final league game on May 2nd. I want to thank everyone who has supported me on my journey so far, and I will write my goodbyes when the time officially comes. For now though, I think I will be more of a mentor than a player, as younger generations will have to learn from me until I'm gone for good. " Last edited on 2026-02-06 20:02:41 by 0verpowerd |

We enjoyed the visit, until the refs handed you the game by forcing our kicker to punt the ball from 29 yards out. After the game, we had a talk with the coach and he was flabbergasted. "That's not the play we called at all! Get that K the f**k off my team!"
We will look further into this situation, but there is no doubt that foul play is involved. Sea-Reapers will be holding auditions during the offseason at the local high school and trying out the girls soccer team in hopes of finding a more competent kicker. In all seriousness, good game. 17-16 and I would claim we would have won had the game not glitched that BS call in the 1st that forced us to punt instead of kick the 29 yard FG, and for anyone reading, no, it's not the playbook. I verified it right after. It just punted instead of kicked despite the playbook rules. I have screen shots of the portions of the playbook after the "test your playbook" to prove this if Pete needs it. But I can't claim this would have changed the outcome as the game winning FG was kicked with 40 seconds left and down by 2, on 2nd down. I assume if we had been up by 5 instead of 2, you would have tried to punch the ball in, and they were already in the redzone. So good game, possibly worth the game of the week in review? No clue, haven't looked at the rest of the games yet. Fun season, we still broke over .500 so that's an accomlishment in this league, and in this division especially. |

😈 Devil Cast — Game of the Week
Seattle Sea-Reapers @ Hamburg Sea Lions (Divisional Game, Season Finale) The Sea Devils season closed with a dramatic and controversial finish as the expansion Seattle Sea-Reapers traveled to face the powerhouse Hamburg Sea Lions. Hamburg entered the matchup having already clinched the division at 13-2, while Seattle came in fighting to end a strong debut season on a high note. Instead, we got heartbreak, controversy, and a one-point classic. Final Score Hamburg 17 — Seattle 16 Hamburg extends its incredible home win streak to 16 games, while Seattle finishes its inaugural Sea Devils season 9-7 and 3rd in the division — a highly respectable debut campaign despite the bitter ending. First Half — Seattle in Control Seattle came out sharp and aggressive. Early in the 1st quarter, QB Ron Burkett capped a long opening drive with a gritty goal-line scramble TD to put Seattle up 7-0. From there, kicker Quinn Powers stayed busy, drilling field goals from 37 yards and 25 yards to stretch the lead to 13-0 before halftime. Seattle’s defense smothered Hamburg for two quarters and looked poised to pull off a massive road upset. But this game will forever be remembered for one moment in the first quarter. The Glitch That Changed the Game Mid-1st quarter, Seattle faced a kickable field goal from the 29-yard line — a near automatic 3 points. Instead… the team punted. This was confirmed to be a game glitch, not a coaching or playbook decision. Those lost 3 points loom enormous now. Ownership was furious after the game — and understandably so. In a one-point loss, the math is brutal. Sometimes the football gods simply shrug and say “tough luck.” Third Quarter — Hamburg Awakens After being shut out for two quarters, Hamburg erupted in the 3rd. QB Bryant Stover led back-to-back touchdown drives: 7-yard strike to Paul Sontu 9-yard TD to Ernest Pastorek In the blink of an eye, the Sea Lions flipped the script and took a 14-13 lead. Momentum inside the packed Hamburg stadium became overwhelming. Fourth Quarter — Nail-Biting Finish Seattle refused to fold. Another clutch kick from Quinn Powers (42 yards) pushed Seattle back ahead 16-14 midway through the 4th quarter. The Sea-Reapers defense needed one final stand to steal the win. Instead, Hamburg mounted a late drive and kicker Emir Pouget delivered the dagger — a 24-yard field goal with :48 remaining. Hamburg 17. Seattle 16. Game over. Season over. Quarterback Duel Ron Burkett (SEA) 32/49 — 308 yards 0 TD / 0 INT 1 rushing TD Bryant Stover (HSL) 34/52 — 282 yards 2 TD / 1 INT A tight, evenly matched battle under center — decided by momentum swings and inches. Season Perspective — Sea-Reapers Debut Let’s zoom out. First season in the Sea Devils League: Final Record: 9-7 Division Finish: 3rd place Lost finale by 1 point to the 14-2 division champs That’s not failure — that’s a statement arrival. Seattle proved they belong in this league. But this finale will sting all offseason. Final Devil Cast Verdict Hamburg protects home turf and finishes the season dominant. Seattle leaves knowing they were one glitch away from knocking off the division champs in the finale. Cruel ending. Promising future. And the Sea Devils league just got a whole lot more interesting. See you next season!! Last edited on 2026-02-08 10:33:09 by Bleakardor |

Another 9-7. Couple of good wins but we just can’t compete against the teams who keep coming down from Elite. As my Storm team won’t be able to do it any time soon we’re going back into rebuild & hope for another playoff run in 4-5 seasons when the next generation hit their prime. Lots of good players up for sale folks

Ive considered doing the same and selling off the main talent and starting again I can highly recommend that. The SEA LIONS were set up completely new in S59 and S60, with a lot of the talent we added then being the team that is sitting at #2 in the conference now in S63. For me personally it rejuvenated the joy, because it allows for experimenting a lot. There’s a lot less at stake, too, which eases the stress tremendously. And you can put in everything you learned along the way with an almost totally fresh team. I can understand that some managers do that every now and then with their team, just to keep the energy going. Not us, though… we’re going to the top again ![]() Last edited on 2026-02-07 20:09:48 by Chrill |
