i am watching Euro sport and there are women skiing and shooting but what happen if the miss when the shot any one know???

It is called biathlon.
There are three different scenarios. - there a penalty round of round about 150m. (In time round about 25 sec) for each miss they have to ski one round. - In the 20 km (men) and 15 km (women) race there is no penalty round. For each miss you become a 1 minute penalty. - In the relays you have 3 single extra shoots so 8 shoots if you missed targets with this 8 shoots you have to ski a penalty round |
