Is it possible to add WHERE fumbles occur to the play by play? Or in RZA do fumbles occur and get recovered at the same spot? Other wise you could have had something like:
RB fumbles at the opp 1. Recovered in by the DT in the endzone for a touchback (or safety in the case of the bug). Then it would be clear exactly what happened. Just a thought. |

Seems every fumble I could find was +2 to -2 yards from the LOS, but yeah there's no way to tell how far the back actually made versus how far the ball traveled loose.
I'm guessing the majority of folks wouldn't really care, except in the extreme rare case like happened in the championship game if it bounced a yard or was recovered on the spot? There was a discussion/suggestion about a drill down mode for hiding some of the deeper details of a play - maybe would be a good suggestion to add alongside that if it picks up traction? |
