I'm pretty sure you'll do it this time - and maybe next season I'll be back to take up the challenge in 1.1 after getting whipped in the Elite!

I have played for the championship once, but lost by 3 points, so this year I plan to take it all the way! I am enjoying actually winning 10 or more games per season though...

I did enjoy that in 1.1 and so was tempted to lose the final playoff game before the CC. However, also being something of a masochist I thought I'd try for the Elite - that way I can get whipped for 3 months and it's perfectly legal  |

Sadly even winning the conference means promotion to the Elite. Maybe if I get battered this season I will reconsider whether its worth being promoted. |

It's always worth it, since that means you did win the season before and what happens in Elite is up to you.
There are some managers in other regions who can their conference championship game to avoid a promotion, but what is THAT worth to play for season after season after season? |

Well I'm feeling pretty good at the moment because I just won my first (real) Elite game. This was against a human opponent whereas two seasons ago I only won against the one Elite team that went bot. So right now I'm 1-1
