The Punt team plays with STT or STBL??
Because in my last League game i see my Gunner in action in a punt play but when he misses the tackle i have to watch my two TEs and two OLs missing their tackles tries (Of course) before my punt man saves the day... And yes, my Depthchart is alright and the Matche's set too. |

I would like to believe this is the case since the punt team IRL is made up of blockers and gunners.

The punt team is 5 OL, 2 TE, 2 Gunners, 1 punter for sure and I'm pretty sure the 11th dude is a FB, check the manual to confirm.

Or are they there just for punter's protection?...... even though its just a small number of plays..... Its a good idea to give your TEs some tackling. Otherwise you'll see a lot of missed tackles.

Yeah the Punts teams are the only units you don't get to pick (unless you s e l e c t your offense based on their kick coverage). It doesn't make sense (bearing in mind we have ST positions) and I reckon 99% of users would vote for at least some of the Punt teams to use STT/STBL but there you go.
Gunners are really your own defence (that you pick) against a punt return. |
