I see what you mean, as far as i know it was removed because it wasn't functioning correctly in the engine, nothing to do with simulating real life. I may have been confused here though! Were you suggesting we should remove these two formations or making a point against what Steve said? My brain isn't fully functional during Christmas recovery! I was making a point against Steve's argument. Sorry for confusion. Last edited on 2016-12-26 09:54:44 by alexshans84 |

I would be happy if we could have some route designs for the playbooks. That would make a lot of differsity. You certainly aren't the only one to be happy with that, but the playbook design is already a much complicated work to do. But if you create (offensive) routes, you also have to call the defensive matchups (double coverage, man to man, coverage switches, ZONE, etc...) and if you create the defensive routes, you also have to create blocking schemes (to counter pass rushers routes, or just to create run plays)... |

Non of which is possablie with the current engine.
Which in it greatness and sadness is simple checks system. No ture value is placed on where the player is on the field. Even so it been a great game to play. |

Not sure if this has been answered yet but will Flexbone be coming as an individual formation or will it always copy Wishbone from now on?

I just found this old thread using a search. Is this still the case? I notice that the flexbone is still around...

Right, and I've noticed that the wording of the play results is often incorrect, if not, impossible. You can't run a running play with your right tailback to the right side of the line, especially off tackle, without getting killed. The RB would literally have to turn and run backwards to the QB to get the ball and then spin a 180 and head back where he came from. You won't ever see a tailback get the ball and run to his same side of the field.... in wishbone yes, but not in flexbone |

feasible in real life or not, my question still remains; is there any difference in game play between the flexbone and wishbone?
