Keep in mind, the Commi would act, since it is a fully automated piece of software. So a machine would punish a manager in one way or another...I'm not sure if this is a good idea

But players are 'punished' for mistakes. If they overspend they end up in financial difficulty. We do not have it built into the program that you can't spend more than will put you into trouble.

If players make a mistake in their playbook they are 'punished' by losing the game or even if they win their PD is reduced. We don't have an automatic check for mistakes (without player involvement).

If they call the wrong defence they are 'punished'. The program does not stop players from calling 3-1-7 against the rush.

If players mistakenly offer the wrong salary they are 'punished'. Either they end up paying huge amounts of salary or the player they have just paid megabucks for goes back on the TM - and he will have cost them money for their mistake.

Anyway I can't believe anyone is so stupid as to punt on every down by mistake. First of all they would have to have enabled their playbook which in all likelihood means they are not playing their first game. And trying to kick a FG from within your own half is equally stupid.

Not if it's your last possession before Half Time.

End of game if you're down by three or less maybe but end of half would mean the opposition gets a fg in your half, if you miss, as we can't run the clock to under 3 seconds to make sure it's the last play.

That's brilliant! I want to see that in real life!

I thought that each commish could have skills in different categories influencing different parts of the game.

For example:
Commish A: (grades out of 20)
Money: 12
Training: 14
Fitness: 8
Morale: 6
Coaches: 10

Commish B:
Money: 8
Training: 13
Fitness: 9
Morale: 11
Coaches: 9

Each league could vote for a Commish and then the Commish would influence these different parts of the game based on his skills so in the above example Commish A would bring the league more money than Commish B, a tiny bit more training and coaches bonuses but slightly less fitness and a lot less Morale.

EXP could also be a factor influencing all skills for Commish just like it works for players/coaches.

I have read most of the comments here. It makes me think of the Green Bay Packers. Am I correct that they are owned by the people?

I feel that is where RZA is right now; I like the commissioner idea, I guess I'm cautious about too much management outside of existing management...
