Admirals 1.1....blows all other 1.1 divisions out of the water with our ELO averages in comparison. Just shows what we've always known. We are #1 baby.

Though very sad to see one of our flag bearers has gone BOT in the Elite League....Doc and his Carrickfergus Knights. Awesome team - great Coach as well. Very knowledgeable and a friendly guy as well. Will be sadly missed.

We have the UK champs as well

Tweaked a few things after our humiliating defeat a few games ago.

ELO isn't very accurate, but Beckos does agree on that one point. Admirals is by far the toughest 1.1 through 2.x.

Congrats to the win. I think I have to change something in my playbook.
But it was a good game

That's odd, I thought I lost. Must have not refreshed the page or something, lol.

Yeah I would have preferred that you lost there

From my side I was initially planning on winning just enough games not to be relagated...but the season is actually going better than expected...

So I'll give it a shot for the division tittle!

half way point for most teams....heres my overview of how its shaping up

AC CONFERENCE :

My Likely Winners : Gunnison Ghosts

Biggest Danger : Chester Ducks

In the Playoffs : Rio Rancho Roadrunners, Eli's Lollercoaster, Melittlemenontheopitchhitchin, Touch It Down 69ers

In the Hunt : WV Bobcats, Birmingham RedBulls,

Going Nowhere : Vienna Jets, Bracciano Lakers

Looking Down Nervously : Sandbach Beavers, Motol Ducks, Dinorwic Miners, High Fives, Bulldozers,

Goners : Lobberich Lions

Gunnison have had a relatively soft schedule first half but a statement win over the Roadrunners gives them the nod for me. The Ducks are highly rated but have been struggling to put teams away...cant look much past their quality though. The remaining playoff spots will be filled with very good teams though who all should make it. The Bobcats seem to be transitional and the RedBulls not yet able to take the next step, taking some heavy losses against likely play off teams. Vienna look safe, the Lakers should win one or two more to keep them live....the rest could be squabbling to get to the 5 wins likely needed to avoid awkward relegation games. Dunno whats happened to the once talented Lions...and very sad to see former great the High Fives floundering.

AC CONFERENCE :

My Likely Winners : AS Roma Wolves

Biggest Danger : Vamosahi

In the Playoffs : Derbyshire Electric, Yellowcakes, Bobboy Magpies, Devon Dog Soldiers

In the Hunt : Lakefield Vikings

Going Nowhere : Adventurers, Galrauch Raiders

Looking Down Nervously : Comagena Lions, Wellesley Wildcats, 2nd Chronicles 7:14, London Silverbacks, Badgers, Springfield Jacks

Goners : Constanta Ravens (BOT)

The Ravens going BOT throws a spanner into the works for the teams who have suffered at start of the season. All depends who are lucky enough to have to play them over the remainder of the season as to whom will get the good first round draft picks. At the top, the Wolves have looked very strong beating all teams with some ease since a Week 1 loss. Vamosahi almost as impressive, but a recent shutout at the hands of the Yellowcakes is a concern. The Cakes remain dangers, but have suffered some surprising losses, much like the Electric, Magpies and Soldiers. Only the Vikings to me look like troubling the rest as they tussle with the Electric for the division. Adventurers have a good record but look to have taken advantage of a soft schedule - the rest look to be too far adrift to make a run at post season play.

Pretty good assessment. I like the parity right now of being in the position of simultaneously being able to win it all or not even make the playoffs. My star quarterback is going to be retiring probably in the next couple of seasons, so I'm hoping for the former.
