Really sorry about no reviews yet, been hectic at work but I will put it up tomorrow and also a forecast to the semi finals
 despite me being out (Gg Saints! What a game!) I am still very much looking forward to the round! Being an onlooker has its benefits haha.
I maaaaay even put my neck out and offer my odds on to win  of I am brave enough to call the games! |

Well tonights semi finals throws up 2 repeats from the group games.
Will previous results provide an indication of the finalists or will there be a shock in store ? Taints v Saints A win of 31:24 in the group stage and a better overall ranking and ELO score indicate that the Taints should be favourites here - however the Saints were ahead for the first 3 Qtrs of that group game and only at the end did the Taints come back to win (the Saints throwing 2 interceptions in the last 7 minutes didn't help). Adventurers v Lions Having played twice in the same division of Admirals 1.1 this season and again in the group stage the Lions will be looking for revenge against the Adventurers. 5 passing touchdowns from the Adventures QB's did the damage last time so the Lions need to stop this aerial assault. The Lions will be looking to pick off those passes and book a place in the final Good luck all |

Beat me to the punch haha. Just sat down to write up about the games. I think I agree with everything you said and on past games in this tournament, you would expect similar outcomes, but things are different for both of the previous losers and I feel a shock could well be in order for the favourites.
I said I'd go out on a limb so here goes: Adventurers vs Taints final for me...Lions and Saints, prove me wrong!! Thanks to the Academicals, GLADIATORS and Hurricanes for participating...no thanks at all to my kicker...I hate him. Odds: Adventurers - Evens Taints - 9/4 Saints - 11/4 Lions - 15/2 rising to 9/4 if they overcome the Adventurers GOOD LUCK |

Unlucky Lions - you deserved to win - you outcoached and outplayed me - missing the game winning 33yd FG in the last minute has to hurt
I need to seriously improve if I'm to beat the Taints next week |

Final game Adventurers vs Taints!!!
Two of the stronger sides in the tournament consistently good throughout and both are in the money, but want the win. Adventurers have a good run going in the Supercup to give them confidence for the game. Taints a chance to join Adventurers in 1.1 with the relegation playoffs looming. I have to back the more dominant force in the competition so far in the Adventurers but I feel they will have a tough task against the Taints. A staple of this tournament is a hard to call game and the final seems to be just that. Good luck to both and thanks all for participation!! |

Whoever wins or loses it doesn't matter as surely the game of football is the winner. I'm only joking - I really want that silverware but know that this will be my hardest test.  |

This has been fun. I'm happy that I participated. I learned much about my team. There were many challenging competitors involved and I believe a lot of you will experience success in your respective leagues and cups.

Well that's all she wrote!! A thrilling competition ends with a 1 score game, fitting of the tournament as a whole to have such a close final. It looked fairly close throughout with the Adventurers having their noses in front, something they were accustomed to in this competition at least. Commiserations to the Taints, a very strong competitor also, a team who fought well and looked dominant in their half of the draw for sure. But all-in-all the group stage dominators and knockout stage controllers won the silverware!
Two iterations of this cup, four different finalists, two different winners, yet fun had by all! Thank you all again for your participation and I will definitely organise another cup in the coming season! I will extend the upper limit on rating because as my own grows so must the cup - I hope to see as many of you register for my cup again and seeing as this format worked so well I will copy it again. Until next time!  ADVENTURERS |
