It depends on

a) are you in win-now mode with a team reaching its peak
b) if the players were on the transfer market and you needed a player for that position would you buy them
c) do you value your own players more on basis of history, their position in your all-time-stats, the fact you've developed them or do you prefer max efficiency, getting the best player for best price regardless of where they came from

As for me, my team has been around for a while is peaking at the same time and has 2 seasons max left before they all collapse of old age. I had something like 4/20 retirements - two offered to rescind and I accepted regardless of price (one was reasonable and one less so).

So I'd say you keep the players if you answer Yes to A and Yes to either B or C. I answered Yes to A and C.

Thanks guys for the advices. The MLB will certainly stay next season. And with a bit of luck he will not want to retire then.

My DL will stay this season at least. I will see if I can sell other players this season and how much I can get from them.
