Bloodbeak seems to be back with a new team ,currently in Fire 2,2 , and will probably get back into the 1.1 mix in 2 Seasons

Fixed it for you mate

I didn't want to let my team go but had no choice at the time. I've forgotten how much there is to be done in the early stages, so will probably make all the same mistakes I made the first time around. Plus my team is utter garbage at the moment. The youth pulls are going straight into the starting line-up and I'm weeding out the old fellas, most of whom have very underwhelming physicals.

It would have made more sense to join the early league (Thunder I think it was?) but here I am, back here. Damn you guys for instilling some kind of Fire pride in me!

The stadium is named in honour of my former QB, now a Lyon Eagle, and I will retire the #3 that he made his own. At least he is getting the Elite action he never could bumbling around and choking when it mattered on my old squad. It's a shame the coaches I fired never made it to the market. I had some really good ones.

I will be taking it easy for some time, and will probably mill around in the lower leagues for a while. Currently the team gets miniscule gains each training update, so it's hard to get excited about the team at this stage. Will get to work once my youth academy is up to scratch.

As for letting half a billion go down the drain? I'm going to try not to think about that too much

I also kinda overshot my expectations (after game 5 ). AC North has really become super competative with Carolina Reapers and Hainaut Gamecocks still competing for the final Playoff Ticket .

I expected two wins and relegation back to the little leagues...so to say I'm pleasantly surprised to still have an outside shot at getting a wild card is an understatement

Couple of newer guys putting on the heat on us old farts

- Mighty impressive season from the Bucs, impressive win against a very talented 49ers squad. Will be interesting to see, if you can defend the pole position in the playoffs and get a peek at Elite

- also impressive how the Haikou Hurricanes gave the Mutineers a good ole spanking to secure the playoff bye as PD is too high

- the MTown Badgers threating to take away the Division from the Novo Lions, a team I always thought would be the next Fire Elite team

- remarkable rookie seasons by the Carolina Reapers and the PR Chaser, keep going guys.

the AC looks very competitive, on paper the 49ers should still be the class of the AC, however they need to bring that rating from the paper to the pitch if they want to get back to Elite. Neuseen with the homefield advantage is the biggest challenger, but the ageless Gladiatori Roma (nice season btw) and Ajalvir Destroyer could also cause an upset.

In the NC, Kumberg looks very strong being undefeated and most of the games weren't even close. Anything else but a Conference Championship would be a disappointment and an upset. I still think, the only team capable of an upset would be the Novo Lions, but maybe, one of the young guys will surprise me again

All in all the future is bright for the Fire Region. However, we could put even more teams in the SC playoffs in the future, so keep pushing, guys
