Very sad news for the NFL World as we hear about the passing of Dan Rooney today. He was so much more than an owner and a true fan of the game. May his spirit go on through his franchise

Even though I'm a Ravens fan, it is sad to see Rooney gone. Still very much hate toward Steelers

Was aware of his existence but as a european I was not familiar. But heard enough about him on the Around the NFL podcast that I realise now that the game lost a true legend. I really liked that he has lived in the same house all his life, a very simple two story house.

In the Madden17 game, if you play as an owner you can choose between three kinds of owner; the business tycoon, the former player or the super fan. Rooney was the picture of the super fan.  |
