My understanding of the recent changes to retiring players is that they can no longer be fired / contract cancelled after the preseason, but they could be sold on the TM.
When trying to sell one of my retiring players, I get; "You are not allowed to sell this player since he is retiring at the end of the current season." Is this working as intended? If so, there is no mechanism for removing a retiring player from the roster, other than waiting until the end of the season. |

They can only be sold before the first game of the season. Read it again

Ah, OK.Couldn't find anything conclusive in the Manual, so thought I'd ask.
