We met up with oakbark of the Preston Plumbers to pick his brains on the upcoming game against Xu Da:
Question 1. Since you changed the name of the club your record is 19-4 (incl play-offs). Quite a dramatic improvement over the Ville Viking's record of 16-41. You are still unbeaten this season and have beat two good teams in your last two games. Some pundits argue you are the dark horse of the play-offs that could go all the way. What are your expectations for the play-offs? Our record may be a little misleading, we have fewer top tier teams this year than previously. Also our squad has matured and this year we have recruited older more experienced players to our squad. That's the reason for the tecord thus far. As for expectations, we expect to win every match. Question 2. QB Jack Pitman has an insane yards per attempt. Surely that stat alone should warrant a starting job? It's a very small sample size and he still doesn't know all his teammates names. He's ripping teams seconds strings up though coming in fresh, he's to good to be a backup and Fuffy may well push him to third on the depth chart now he's left the Academy. Our starter is unquestioned, Macfarlane would walk into 99% of teams and be an upgrade. Question 3. Give me a stat about your team that you think will matter this season? Team Chemistry, these guys still haven't finished gelling as yet, so there is a lot more to come by the season end!! Question 4. What do you think will be the deciding factor in this game? Which team concedes the least points :-D |

Whilst laughing at my appalling English and half finished sentences for which I blame my iPhone I think I must clarify my QB is called Duffy not Fuffy or Fluffy or anything else lol

I really hope this does not make it into the locker room. On top of the normal hazing, having to deal with being called Fuffy could destroy his career

The LBers got hold of it during team drills, however, as Cathal Foley is promising not to a Charles Haley in the locker room ever again then everyone was happy that things are not much worse.....
