So we are in the end of the season, and because I'm some kind of a bad manager, my team doesn't have any official game to play anymore

So I'm playing friendly matches, as for now, I got 3 in a row this week, and I noticed one pretty interessant fact :

two of these games were predicted as either "close game" or "possible win", so they were predicted as balanced games, let's class them as Cat.A

The other game was a predicted blowout... and I got pretty well blownout...
So here we have a one-sided contest, he will be our Cat.B

Cat.A combined score : 47-43

Cat.B combined score : 41-6

so predictions were pretty accurate

So what is the point ? What is the link between this and the topic's title ?now we are getting to it, don't worry

Cat.A attendance (%) : 33.3 & 33.5 (so 1/3 basically)

Cat.B attendance (%) : 22.3 (=2/9)

The point is, there are few main reasons we play friendly games :
-Test some PB, DC
-Enjoy RZA a little more
-Earn some extra money !!!

Yes, now we are to it : it seems attendance is based somehow on the expected result of the game (maybe the ELO difference, win/loss ratio between the 2 teams, idk...)

So my point is ; if you are counting your cents (wanted to write pennys, but it could have been misinterpreted ) play against opponents playing as good as you are.

Caution !

I noticed based on just 3 games, so this topic isn't accurate, some more datas should be used to confirm/infirm this (holly ? )

Not quite right. It is much simpler.

The attendance is firstly based on when the game is played. If the friendly match-up is on a Friday, the maximum attendance is just a bit over 33,000 (I believe it is 33,400).

If the friendly match-up is on a Tuesday or Saturday (normally league game days), the maximum attendance is about 50,000.

It was just coincidence that the your blow-out match was on a Friday. Check the attendance on some of your past friendly games this season on Fridays.

Well, I should have started by this. Using just a 3 games sample really wasn't a good idea.

Thanks for sharing your light
