Well don't get too caught in making judgements in pre-season games....BUT...if I had to choose between a QB playing badly in a pre-season game and a QB playing well then yeah, you're right! Trying not to get on the hype train....but it's hard Still expecting a few win season however. This is to be expected. I think the browns D is becoming legit with Jamie Collins and Myles Garrett. The offense is getting revamped with OLinemen, especially Kevin zeitler. They have one of the best underrated duo of RB and crowell can do some real damage between the tackles with these additions. They just need some competent play at QB which I believe they'll get from a healthy Kessler. That should give kizer time to refine his game. My only true wish is to see them make the bungles the new browns of the division |

That seems like the script indeed. Just don't hope they start him week 1. Rookie QB need experience yes, but not experience of losing

They already have to QBs that are used to get the shit beaten out of them. I just hope they will be smart enough not to start Osweiler

I am just surprised that Kessler seems out of the picture. I really would have put my money on him to get the starting job in week 1.

You can't think because a guy doesn't play much he's not gonna start. I'm pretty sure they will want to give time to develop to Kizer, and they really have no point to start Osweiler... So wait and see |

One other way to look at it is that he is the only known value for Jackson, so he is giving as much playtime as possible to the other to figure out which one to play in the event Kessler goes down. As of now Osweiler has shown jack shit in that offense and Kizer is the likely number 2 to say the least. With the money they gave away on Osweiler (sorry I meant invested on a 2nd rounder next year), they have to figure out if they can get a couple of snaps out of him this year, or if they can cut him |

It's the absolute best! I love when you have an absolute nobody that wows the pre season, everyone drafts him in fantasy, and the guy ends up never playing
