Is there somewhere I can see which positions positions require which attributes?

For example: is there a list that says CB needs tackling, vision etc...

read jsck6's guide in this forum it gives great info for all aspects of the game. also the manual has a few hints too.

Here is a list of positions and their skills, based on my experience.
QB: (sum of trainable non-physical A- and B-Skills: 3)
A-Skills: INT, STR, PAS, VIS
B-Skills: SPE, AGI
C-Skills: POS, FOO, CAR

WR: (sum of trainable non-physical A- and B-Skills: 4)
A-Skills: SPE, AGI, CAT, POS
B-Skills: STR, VIS
C-Skills: FOO, CAR

RB: (sum of trainable non-physical A- and B-Skills: 4)
A-Skills: SPE, STR, AGI, CAR, POS
B-Skills: VIS
C-Skills: FOO, CAT

FB: (sum of trainable non-physical A- and B-Skills: 5)
A-Skills: SPE, STR, AGI, CAR, POS, BLO

This has to be read this way:
A-Skills should be high and the player do profit from it in a big way.
B-Skills should be also trained in the med run and the player should profit from it in a good way
C-Skills can be trained in the long run and the player might profit from it a bit, maybe.

That list is an excellent starting point.. of course it is highly subjective ut it does give a good idea of the type of skills a player needs.

Examples of why my own opinion differs, I consider Speed to be more important than Strength for a QB, and I would class Int and Pos as 'A' skills for Cornerbacks, and Int is a minimum of a 'B' skill for all positions, 'A' in some key cases.
