Is there much advantage to a Ball Manager QB? Since they don't run often, their chance of fumbling is small. There don't seem to be sacks causing fumbles...so it wouldn't help there. Ball Manager: This player gets a bonus to not fumbling the ball Traditionally, a ball or "game" manager QB would be one that doesn't turn the ball over - - which for a QB usually means interceptions. But that doesn't seem to be covered under this special trait. Steve SD Blitz |

I'm thinking its a placeholder for the futre like with WR and TE since those guys never fumble either.

All I know about it is several seasons ago in the Monarchs 1.1 Bowl game, my QB fumbled on the opponents ONE yard line. Also threw 5 interceptions. Sacked his QB TEN times to his Zero. Lost by 4 points. BTW the opponent later quit the game.
It does seem like at times the computer is on a mission. How many times in a YEAR does your QB fumble and lose the ball ?? |

My QB's had one this year, two ever in 159 games with 58 rushes. Depending on future game changes though this trait could end up being quite useful.
