Also, from an anecdotal perspective, the ONLY reason I didn't play all rookies in my final league game of the season was that I didn't want to have low moral going into the SC and playoff games. So the moral successfully influenced me to try and win a game I would otherwise have no reason to win. So I would say it is serving its purpose. We get rid of moral, and I would have simply lost the last three games of the season since none of them mattered to my team and the experience to my youth players would be more valuable.

But in reality putting in back ups in this situation is the most sensible thing for your team. I would do this 100% of the time except where to do so might impact another team's playoff chances.

If your back ups were to lose then your morale should not be affected because that is what you expected. Also morale should be impacted by the team you are about to face as well as those you have faced. E.g. I am about to match up with a team in the playoffs that I beat two weeks ago. Even if I had just lost a game then my morale should be improved because the team would be thinking 'we just beat these guys'., not to mention that they should be pumped up because we are in the playoffs.

Personally speaking even if it does effect anothers chances i would have no problem with a manager who does what is best for his team. Others may not like it, but hey ho.

Just had an utterly embarrassing defeat where my D-Line spent the entire game lying on their backs Really feel like I should have lost a lot more then 6 moral after a loss like that...

Good way for Prater to finish off his utterly disappointing career:

5* EXP + 43.5 TW + 39.7 INT + 50 STR + 49.2 SPD + 39.4 AGL + 47 TAC+ 47 FTW + 47 VIS + 45.4 POS = league's best napper

I don't understand why this guy wasn't dominant. He should have been near 50+ TFL with a handful of sacks, forced fumbles, recoveries, and touchdowns for the last few seasons.
