Just an idea floated into my head but why not impose a Transfer market deadline? Maybe after the week 10 games?
Benefits? 1. Realism 2. Prevent managers improving their squad right before an important playoff game. So more game management. 3. Force managers to make decisions about firing. So more game management. 4. Prevent (in a helpful sense) managers ending up with too many players on their roster at season rollover. 5. Make Pete's life easier at rollover !!! Any downsides? |

Well, right now I think it is common to fire/sell players after regular season, if playoffs are not made. That gives teams the opportunity to plan for next season late in the season and to clean ship.
With that suggestion this would change and I'mnot sure if all would like that. I don't like it because it just makes the playing experience less fun for me. |

For me it would make the game a lot less fun. |
