Preseason show is now ready. Not what we are usually used to but mostly the same. New season ahead, interesting battles to look forward to. How is everyone looking?

due to work, RL issues and trip to US I completely had no time / didn't prioritise contact renewals and now 54 players have left my team.... I guess I'm in rebuild mode.
Fortunately I was able to watch Packers play live at lambeau field and have their worst performance in the McCarthy era .. 
so all in all good start to the season! |

Despite not being a Packers Fan I think there are worse things to do than visit Lambeau Field... Hope you enjoyed it - and don't care about one last season... |

that's 2 in thunder that forgot to renew their contracts I know that you save money through out the season by waiting and I do for those that will be hitting me for a large increase, how ever those that will play for nearly the same with a small increase I get them under contract immediately so that I can build them up and have them locked up for a few years, I like the this year plus 2.
After renewing my contracts for the season I only have 13 contracts that will expire at the end of this season. Or you can just leave HR department off and never have to worry about contract renewals  |

Been a little quiet here this offseason.
My projections for season 28bare as follows; Budapest Wolves will fight it out with the Bastards LM Pirates and Amersfoot Alligators will miss the playoffs on their return to 1.1 FROM Elite. Befuddled Bubble Bobbles will prove last season is no fluke and be stronger this year. Wsjfit and his Thunder will be stronger and push for deeper run into the playoffs |

Some of my starters still need work on their skills - so the deep playoff run might have to wait for next season. The Whalers are a tough team to beat though, there is a good chance we might be in a fight to see who wins the NC North. |

What a game to start the season!
17-3 ahead by half time, but Thunderbolt came out of the locker room fighting. The raging Thunderbolts put up 14 unanswered points to tie the game in the 3rth quarter.... The whalers rallied and regained the lead early in the 4th. With 9.48 to play the Thunderbolts again tie the game after a long drive. Both teams where fighting their tails off. The thunderbolt defense turned up and stopped the whalers drive. Forcing the punt with 6.03 to go. The Thunderbolts started the drive at their own 20. With 1 and 10 with 29 yards to go Morrel fumbles the ball and the Whalers recover! My team started the (could be) game winning drive. But what happens? On 3 and 1 the QB audibles into a passing play! Intercepted! This happend with 1.06 on the game clock... Within 2 plays the thunderbolts advanced to the 1 yard line. A field goal was enough to win the game for thunderbolts but they wanted to end the game in style. An epic goalline defense saved the game for the Whalers! OVERTIME! The last play of overtime apperantly broke the spirits of the Thunderbolts and the first drive of OT resulted in the game winning touchdown drive for the Whalers! Thank you Thunderbolts for this epic game! Love Football |
