Then all RZA teams should participate. Every country( region) should have the same number of teams who can play qualifying matches to decide which team will represent the country(region) at the World Cup.
Depending the number of available gamedays can be decided the number countries (regions), the number of teams in each countries(regions) and if the World Cup will have groups or directly knockout matches. |

I like this idea of an RZA World Cup a lot but I'm not sure we should get XP and money for these games... Or if we do, we should make sure that it's really evenly spread across the board... I also don't think that we should replace the CoC but maybe the RZA World Cup could be limited to teams that do not participate in the CoC that year meaning that we have every Friday of the season to schedule games.
I would like to hear Pete's opinion again now that a few more ideas/comments have been made Merry Christmas everybody! |

If the performance of the previous season is determined by the elo-change, the fluctuation of teams will get high.

First of all, I like this suggestion as a whole, but:
1) I don't think this competition should replace CoC (not that I like it much ). It's not the priority to me. 2) I don't think that Pete should be a big part of the organizational side of this competition. It should be active managers who want to entertain themself and not Pete (who has something more important to do than to code this stuff). So participating managers should challenge other managers on Friday themselves. The only work that should be done by Pete (other than Drinkers' participation in this competition of course) is to display the trophy image on the winner teams' homepages. 3) We shouldn't limit ourself to 4, 5 or any number of participants from either team. There should be only two conditions: 1) equal number of managers from 2 playing sides; 2) odd number of managers on each team (to avoid a draw). |

The problem with doing this instead of Friday friendlies is that by participating a team would hurt its players long-term development because of EXP. For example, I don't want my backup QB to miss a friendly game snap as he needs all the EXP he can get but if I were to participate in this competition I would play my starting QB forcing my backup to the bench.
