I read Darnauld saying he won't declare this year if Browns hold pick 1. Don't know if it is true. Then again I have said all along i am a Rosen fan and Hue will love his skill set.

Bombs away......

Dont know about that. Always a lot of speculation. Maybe now that there is a new GM he will change his mind.

I read this too (a few weeks ago) but I don't think that it is true.
You always have to keep in mind: Being on a team that contends for the Super Bowl is all great and stuff, but every athlete's #1 interest is the money and I highly doubt that Darnold will risk becoming a multimillionaire by spending another season at USC (where he could tear his ACL, break his back, and so on...) just to avoid being with the Browns.

I'm not confident that Darnold is the 1st QB taken. A lot of the information that I'm reading recently praises Rosen as the more polished and most natural passer of the two.
TBH, with the hype of Mayfield, the playmaking ability of Jackson and the intrigue of Allen, almost any of these players could end up as the top QB taken. I think this decision will be made after teams get their chance to meet the talent. Mayfield gets the 1st chance because he's accepted his invitation to the Senior Bowl. I'm not sure if the others are eligible because they're juniors and they would need to have graduated to be eligible to play. This will make for an interesting few months nonetheless.

In 2000 Jets had 12, 13, 18 and 27. 1992 Colts had 1 and 2.

I think the Browns pick Rosen and Barclay. If it falls so they couldn't get one then they get a bookend to play opposite Garrett and watch QB run for there lives for next decade.

Best player in the draft in my opinion is the ND G Quenten Nelson. H3 wont be taken this high but deserves to be. Would love to see him blocking for Barclay.

I think that, if the opertunaty is there, the browns should get a vet qb in FA (or trade). I mean would another rookie be the answer? And i think Kizer showed progress the last couple of games. Learning behind a vet qb would help him a lot. Draft a qb at 1 or 4 and kizer is finished (at least that would be the signal). And would that be fair? What did kizer have around him this this year? He didnt have a go to guy at all. Coleman missed a lot of games and gordon just came back. That in combination with an rb that doesnt produce... it would be hard for any rookie

Also the pass defence sucks big time, giving up so many points...

I am really looking forward what Dorsey will do this ofseason

My hope: Draft Barkley as number 1 overall and get Cousins as a free agent (use that capspace).
