 Source: http://i68.tinypic.com/247jm.jpg Process of Induction 1/ A Committee votes for 3 eligible teams 2/ The five teams with the most votes are submited to the managers votes. Each manager can vote for 2 teams 3/ The Team with the most votes will be inducted. Until the Hall of Fame has less than 6 team inducted, the second team of the vote will be inducted too if it gets at least 10 votes. After, the second team will need at least 15 votes and be designated by 75% of the voters to get inducted. Who are the members of the Committee? - All the Seadevils 1.1 and Elite Bowl Winners - The Elite teams of the current season - The Conference finalists of the current season - Designated subtitutes if there is less than 8 committee members who voted. The designated subtitutes can vote 48h before the deadline. They are the losers form the 1.1 Division Round of the current season. There are as many substitutes as there are committee members who did not vote in order to reach the minimum of 8 voting managers. Who can vote for the induction? - All the Seadvils 1.1 members - All the managers who played at least one season in 1.1 Can we vote for our own team if it is eligible or nominated? - No What is the Timeline? - The committee votes starts soon after the Division Round and closes at the Bowl game kick-off - The Induction votes starts soon after the Bowl Game and finishes straigth after the draft - The result of the election should be know the Third Day of the Draft What happens in case of ex-aequo on the Committee vote? - If two teams are ex-aequo for rank 5 to 6, we keep both teams if they have more than 1 votes each. If not we do the election with 4 teams. - If three teams are ex-aequo for rank 5 to 7, we keep none of the teams and make an election with 4 teams only - If three teams are ex-aequo for rank 4 to 6, we keep the 3 teams - Globaly, we should not have less than 4 teams or more than 6 teams. In case of very rare other case than above, we will adapt case by case. What happens in case of ex-aequo on the final vote? - If two teams are ex-aequo for rank 1, they are both inducted if they got more than 10 votes each - If two teams are ex-aequo for rank 2, they are both inducted if they got more than 15 votes each (10 for the first seasons according to point 3) Last edited on 2018-02-17 11:27:07 by Fincyril |
