Probably I have the same problem as was described in this topic years ago.
I have 2 players on DC as P. 1st is P by position the 2nd is an LB playing out of position as P. My problem is that, my 1st P never participates in games, despite he is exclusively listed as a P on DC. 
Shall I create a new DC from scratch? Is that the solution? |

Of course this is worth a try. You could provide me the depth chart number in question and the player-ids, names and set positions as well, so I could have a look at the database BEFORE you change things

I was checking the database, and it looks OK. I ticked the "first string" checkbox. Please report back if Ali was punting after the next game you are using your standard depth chart. I ran a scrimmage, and he was doing as supposed.

Yep, at least it did the trick. However, internally it is still considered to be a bug, and I am working on getting it right. Since it does not happen very often it is just hard to fix...
