One of my former players retired at the end of S27, when will he be elibible for my Hof ?

A player is eligible to join the Hall of Fame, if his retirement was in the past for more than 100 days.

Source: Manual - Teams Hall of Fame

I have a FB trained at OL with track star trait.

"This player is a natural speedster. Track Star gives a 5% bonus to the speed attribute except for OL, DL, K and P."

Does this position designation mean
-where the player plays on depth chart or
-which AC he is trained by?

Not sure what you're asking
At OL position the trait is not applicable
at OL he is trained by OL coach.
I think if his position is listed as OL but plays FB on a depth chart Like moving a player to special teams I'll assume the trait is in effect.
Move his position to FB and the trait is applicable and he is trained by FB coach.

I think he is asking about playing a FB out of position at OL to make use of the 5% speed bonus.

Thank you both.
Yes, I do not have an FB coach, so I train my FB at OL, and worrying about losing the speed bonus. I hope playing position counts, not the training coach when calculating.

Pretty sure you lose the speed bonus, plus you get the OOP penalty. I'd probably avoid using him while you train blocking, and get him over to the RB coach as soon as possible. Or just suck up the slower Block training and put him under the RB coach now. He will perform better under the RB coach, and his Speed and Carrying skills can be trained better by the RB coach.

If you want to receive your bonus from both coaches and traits you ned to reposition him, and to play him at his set position. For reasons

I think whether the trait counts or not depends on the playing (DC) position and isn't affected by the roster (training) position ... except that it will be hit with an OOP penalty after being applied.

As far as avoiding using him - I'm sure Rock meant to say "except as a STBL"

If he's a 27 year old ... I would move him to his home.
(trying to avoid an Adam Sandler golf youtube link)
I'd much rather have low 30s blocking on a FB than an OOP hitting carrying.

Yes on the free days Tuesday, Friday and Saturday. No when it costs credits to play friendlies.
