The world lost one of it's most visionary Physicists today with the passing of Professor Stephen Hawking. He gave us a better understanding of the universe and our brief period in it. Thank you for your knowledge. |

Somewhere out there Hawking is partying like Gronk and Lou Gehrig is still hawking "Lou vs. Time" and looking forward to his 115th b-day A Brief History of Time Flatland Schrödinger's Cat Trilogy ... not which warped my little mind the fastest ... I would not be naming people "Higgs" Bo Zhong without the help. |

Most appreciated: he was honest enough to acknowledge mistakes in his theories, and to get over such mistakes! There are only a few people able to tell about science so the average people understand it, and get fascinated by it. He was one of these guys, in a row with Dieter B. Herrmann (hero of my youth, and the cause I am still doing in astronomy), Harald Lesch, Michio Kaku maybe, and of course Alex Gerst - who goes to space in a few weeks again! And yes, there are a few more... |
