Looks good now, thanks..... One little thing, in two of my scrimmage games i have put by mistake the exact same playbooks for home and away team and the exact same depth chart ..... the results were very surprising, 49-3 and 38-6 for the home team .... seems strange, with the exact same players and playbook i will expect a lot more closer games..... i will run some other games like that ..... Mine are one score games with that setup |

Since these are live decisions, of course the games outcome will differ. And if one team gains advantage, such results are not out of focus for me. Hard to judge by two games... |

Well if it is the sim that's now active for a competitive games does shotgun still hasn't been sorted. My opposition just used shotgun two for the majority of the game and I still lost despite using Match of the Year option. And for me people using one formation for the majority of the game is still an issue as well.

What did you expect? It was not about "switching SG4WR off". It is all about making it more balanced. And from my numbers...I am quite sure it is a huge step into the right direction...

I checked your game, and the simulation has marked these tactics as lopsided. So what?

I would suggest you to read the pinned thread in this forum. It has this answer and some more on the topic around lopsided tactics. It answers as well, why Coaches karma would be important and probably a solution to it. But Coaches Karma was shut down by the community. That being said, it is not off the table, since I still think it would be the most beneficial way of handling this situation.

With all due respect I'm still not seeing anything that substantially stops one sided tactics. These teams do it in every single game and there getting away with it and have done since the start.

As said before, maybe this is due wrong expectations from your side? It is not about making shotgun formations unusable...the goal is to make "SG all game long" tactics less successful.
You are making the assumption, you should have won because your opponent was using lots of shotgun during the game, and you should have won because you were using MOTY. Both assumption are not true, luckily. If you win a game because only switching on MOTY, we would have to remove MOTY. MOTY is one out of many helpers. And you cannot expect to win games automatic because your opponent gets hit by lopsided tactics penalties... However, I will stop discussing this now, since it makes less sense to discuss this with a manager who is arguing about a loss he faced a few minutes ago. |
