Hello everybody
Sorry I have not find any topic in the forum related to the following question, please if there were already an open discussion give me a link.
I read that Quarterback Strength is related to his throwing arm.
How much is his Strength compared to a back if the quarterback scrambles and fights against a tackle or against a sack?
In this cases a QB with STR=50 is like a HB/FB with STR=50
thanks a lot
pj

I don't think STR is really useful against a sack bc you'll probably never have a QB stronger than the DE or the blitzing LB, or if you have one, his SPD and AGI probably won't be high enough to dodge the free rusher (perfect players don't exist).

STR is useful to his passing (Strong Arm trait) but I'm not sure there is a consensus about that, maybe another manager could share some knowledge.

Thanks for your feedback.
I read in the forum more than one time that Elite managers draft young LB with high TAL and VIS, STR=50 SPE=50 INT=50 and hopefully TW near 50 and train them as QB. They have to train just PASS skill ... and CAR as type C skill.
So this QBs are in the end strong as LB ...
This is the reason of my question.

This guy would be a huge LB and he should remain a LB, for QB position i think 40+ strength will be enough. Also a QB trait will be very useful and Track Star will help him a lot to avoid a sack....

I've got a 52.5 Str QB (50 Str plus strong arm trait), and he gets sacked plenty
