It's a rough old place but I've never had any problems after 40 odd years of going to Millwall games. What hasn't helped is the local council pulling the plug on licenses for a lot of the old pubs round there which were rough but safe, and keeping one turd hole going which they just happen to have an investment in. Lost a lot of community with it and at the same time they changed the public rights of way when they promised the poorest in the area a change in housing. What they did was to gate off the nicer bits and leave the rest as it was. Millwall used to be sponsored by LDDC (The docklands development quango) until the realities of their involvement were exposed. No longer a season ticket holder (health and cost haven't helped) but still get there a lot. Not the same as it was but at least on the football side Neil Harris has brought back the spirit of Millwall.

its about as quiet round here as a Shard End Sharks home game without the buy one get 10 free offer they regularly employ.
Where is Ivo bemoaning his losses or celebrating his wins? Where is Yashin wondering at the marvel of every game he plays? Where is anyone? Do I really have to start flaming you all again to breathe a miniscule spark of life into the Admirals forum??? Please don't make me say I miss Fummer. I think id rather uninstall the game. |

Hopefully ill get above the bottom 8, but no way ill get in the top 2 of admirals division. I think this forum needs your sharp insults more than we care to admit. |

Many division races are still pretty tight. I think owners will become more vocal when they see whether they are in or out of the playoff race.

that's like shouting for your team after the result is known. The kind of thing id expect Wadders to do...the Brummie Liverpool fan who has been waiting nearly 30 years to see his 'big team' be proclaimed English Champions again.
But hey...one post and ive got nearly a page of replies. Proof lift still exists...even if the dregs of society (and Sweden) actually need a little shove every now and.... |

i reckon that loses something in translation, as I have contempt for plenty of things, and wouldn't "buy" them if they were 10 a penny.....
bless the Italians....a beautiful people. point being guys, lets make an effort to keep the forum alive - the game is so much more fun with banter....or I will uninstall you all and shove you over the cliff....though Ivo will need to ask which way is down.....    |
