The improvements I’ve made so far are definitely a good sign, as long as I can keep competing and winning more than I lose I’m pretty happy. Though winning it all would be quite nice as well |

Well, I am the first team in the AC to clinch my division! 3 straight division championships, now to get my first playoff win in a few weeks

I could be wrong about my previous predictions, as RiverCity Fire and SARMIS have both fallen from the tops of their respective divisions. Shoulderiding Racoons II have also fallen from their predicted wildcard spot to a point where I am rethinking those picks. (Obviously my original ones are the only ones I am scoring, but I have come to believe that the Wildcard spot for the NC is going to be Peterborough Pirates and either Berinsfield Hornets or Houston Cougars, with the Shoulderiding Racoons having a shot at picking it up as well. It will be interesting to see what happens between these three teams battling for that last Wildcard spot.
In other news, it looks as if all my other picks have only solidified their positions, either by virtue of winning both games since initial predictions or by having challengers to their spot lose key games. There are still two games left and a lot that can happen to shape the playoff picture, with roughly 17-19 teams that have either locked up a playoff spot or that have a chance at locking one up. |

Wow, escaped an upset bid in OT. My team is still not 100% after a hail-mary-MOTY-game in Supercup to keep the chances for a playoff spot.
Playoff picture .... AC East Secret Air Service 12-2 Just a BOT game and Spaceballs left, even an Upset by Spaceballs would mean Aliens have to grind out A LOT of points to win the division. #2 spot is very likely. Would need an Panthers loss to have a chance for #1. Torchwood Aliens 11-3 playing Eagles and Steelers means likely 2 wins, but hey would need likely 2 60-points difference games to keep the chance for the division alive. But Wildcard spot is all but done at #5. Spaceballs 10-4 playing Steelers and Secret Air Service means likely 1-1 for the final games. With Erfordia also likely to play 1-1 their PD will save them the #6 spot. AC North Florida Gators z 12-2 Secured the division, unlikely to get the #2 spot. AC South Paxtang Black Panthers z 13-1 Secured the division, will play Knights and Erfordia, so likely finish 2-0 and secure #1 spot. But an upset would give them the risk of falling to #2. Erfordia 10-4 Are right now at #7 and will need luck or a strong finish to jump Spaceballs. 2 wins are very likely needed. AC West Knights 7-7 Only the division winner will take #4 spot. Knights will likely lose against the Panthers and need to win against Fire. To secure the division, win high. Chances are not good for them, since Bretzels play a BOT at season final. Strasbourg Bretzels 7-7 Will likely lose against the Gators, but play a BOT after that. Need to win against the BOT HIGH to stay in the hunt. Have a good chance for #4 spot. RiverCity Fire 6-8 Play Erfordia and Knights and need to win both in convincing way to stay in the hunt. Not impossible, but hard. NC East Leverkusen Leopards z 13-1 Secured the division and play a BOT and the Cougars. A loss to the Cougars could lead to the #3 spot, right now at #1. Houston Cougars 9-5 Tough schedule to finish with Pirates and Leopards. They have the worst PD, so wins will be essential. Need to win 1 more than Hornets and Racoons. NC North Newhouse Eagles 7-7 They play Aliens and SARMIS and will finish likely 1-1 or maybe 0-2. The SARMIS game will likely decide the division with PD in high favor for the Eagles. Good chance to win the division and #4 spot. SARMIS 6-8 Playing the Warriors and the Eagles will be hard. They need to win both games to win the division, pending an eagles loss against the Aliens. Still some chances to win the division. NC South Albuquerque Dukes z 12-2 Secured the division and are #2. tough remaining schedule with Balansiya and Hornets. A loss will drop them likely to #3. All wins would secure #2. Berinsfield Hornets 9-5 Playing the Panthers and the Dukes will mean they need to win better both games to stay at #6. A loss opens the gates for the Racoons to jump them. Even winning all has the chance to score less than the Racoons and drop a spot because of PD. Shoulderiding Racoons II 9-5 They play a BOT and the Panthers and do have every chance to overcome the few PD differences they have against the Hornets. Best chance to get #6 spot. NC West Balansiya University x 12-2 Playing Dukes and Bees is a likely 2-0 or 1-1 scenario. 2 wins will let them jump the Dukes for #2 or more, 1-1 will secure #3. Losing the division is highly unlikely and needs basically a 0-2 finish by them and a 2-0 finish by the Pirates. Peterborough Pirates 11-3 Can only win the division by winning against the Cougars and the BOT and a Balansiya 0-2 finish, because of the PD difference. Otherwise they will secure #5. My pick is AC Paxtang Black Panthers Secret Air Service Florida Gators Strasbourg Bretzels Torchwood Aliens Spaceballs NC Leverkusen Leopards Albuquerque Dukes Balansiya University SARMIS Peterborough Pirates Shoulderiding Racoons II |

Updated Playoff picture
AC East Secret Air Service 13-2 Just Spaceballs left. With 1 win ahead of Torchwood and 121 PD better, this game is basically irrelevant for the Division crown. But a loss would eventually drop them at #3 and win and a Panthers loss could lead to #1 spot. Torchwood Aliens 12-3 playing Steelers and a win means securing the #5 spot. A loss would send them only in case of a Spaceballs win to #6. Spaceballs 11-4 Need a win against Secret Air Service and a Torchwood loss to climb in the playoff ranks. A loss and an Erfordia win would lead to a drop to #7. AC North Florida Gators z 13-2 Secured the division, unlikely to get the #2 spot. AC South Paxtang Black Panthers z 13-1 Secured the division, will play Erfordia on last gameday. A win will secure the #1 spot, a loss could make them fall to #2. Erfordia 11-4 Are right now at #7 and will Need a win against Panthers to jump Spaceballs in case of a Spaceballs loss. If both Teams win, Erfordia will likely stay out, thanks to PD. AC West Strasbourg Bretzels 7-8 A not so high loss did bring them to Division lead. They Play a BOT, so a win is likely. Thanks to the already better PD, a win against the BOT will secure the Division title and #4. Knights 7-8 A high loss did send them to second place in the Division and they would Need some luck to jump Strasbourg. Win high and wish for a Close game against the BOT by Strasbourg and you can get in. But the Fire game will be likely also Close, so likely better luck next Season. RiverCity Fire 6-9 Not totally out, but very likely. Would Need a loss by both Teams and win high against Knights on top. Better luck next year I guess. Shoulderiding Racoons II 10-5 They play the Panthers if they lose, they Need to hope for a Hornets loss. And better not lose to high. A win will secure #6 spot very likely. Berinsfield Hornets 10-5 Playing the Dukes will mean they need to win that game have a Chance for #6. The Racoons did jump them, so they Need a win and a Raccons loss or win high and Racoons win not that high to overcome the difference. It's getting hard. NC West Balansiya University x 12-3 Secured #3 and could get even to #2 with a high Dukes loss and a high win against the Bees. Unlikely. PD difference to the Pirates does secure the Division title. Peterborough Pirates 11-4 Play a BOT, so a win is very likely, which secures #5. My pick did not Change. |
