What you stated is all true, however, I believe that is only looking at it from a come back point of view. For example, what if I have the lead in the fourth quarter. Say I want to start running the ball more with an eight point lead and less than ten minutes on the clock. As it stands I would have to have multiple lines in the playbook to cover this situation instead of just two.

Same if you are 4th & 1 inside the 5 with little time left in the game. if you are ahead, tied or behind by 3, you kick. Otherwise you go for it on 4th down. I believe that would be multiple lines instead of two.

Just explaining why I think my suggestion is good. I also believe all the number charts/choices we have should be set up similar like field goals and time left. (especially the last minute)

Now i can barely run an excel sheet so I don't know if its feasible but that is my suggestion.

That might be better if there was a 2 point conversion. But now I see only the same 4 situations. Field goal to tie or win 1-3, a TD to tie or win 4-7, 2 scores field goal and a TD to tie or win 8-10, or lastly 2 TDs or more to tie or win 11+..
.

Edit: because now being 7 points behind your strategy is the same as if your 10 points behind which should not be. Your behind by 7 points with 8 minutes left and its 4th n 4 from the opp 8. And then the same situation except your down by 9. I know I would play both situations differently.

Pete would it be possible to just add those 3 score options rather than changing the existing ones to the playbook?
1) behind 4-7
2) behind 8-10
3) behind 11+

Adjusting is tough, since it would affect all managers, those as well not reading here. If we go for this suggestion, it is about adding the new ranges, in my opinion

Exactly, just add them. It won't affect anyone's playbook. So instead of 6 "behind by" options you'll have 9.

Cannot do that during the season, so waiting for the rollover. I hope the evenings on next week are not as busy as the last weeks were

I am in favour of the suggestion made but would like to go further.

I would even more like to see us able to manually input the yards/score of our choice. So we could be as specific as we choose and this would help eliminate a lot of tedium in creating and then changing the playbook.

Sorry, but for the moment I will stick with "no freely chosen numbers", internal reasons. Again, sorry.

The mentioned ranges were added for offense playbooks, and will be online during the upcoming week.
