Hi,
In defensive playbook, we can choose to prefer rush or pass. We can also choose blitzing %. How are these related? a. blitzing occurs only if the pass preference is chosen by engine b. Blitzing occurs both when pass or rush preference is chosen by engine. Scenario If i set rush defense as 533, and pass defense as 344, LB blitz 75%, SF 0%. and Prefer pass. So, if engine prefers 344 defense, LB blitz 75% of the time. If engines switch to 533 defense, will the LB blitz 75% of the time? Thanks |

They would blitz 75% of the time either way. Think of the prefer button as which formation you want to start with (per quarter), if you prefer 344 (pass) and if the opposition plays rush for the first 5 mins (guess) then the computer will start choosing your rush option instead..... so if you choose 533 then you better hope the opposition is rushing all quarter. Some will rush a time then pass the remainder of the quarter hoping to trick your team into playing the rush....
I never put different formations in the individual rule lines because of this, and scout to ensure I'm grtting it right so that this engine switch up never happens... Hope this explains...pm me if you need anything else explaining  |

So due to precedences by previous run plays,the engine may switch to prefer RUN, and prepare to defend against a run play next.
If i had set LB blitz to 75%, my LB would still blitz 75% of the time for that run defense, and not 0%? |
