Thirty-two teams, seven rounds, 224 young men who, today, are about to become players in the National Football League. A day where lives are changed. fates are decided, dynasties are born, and the clock is always ticking. Of course, I'm talking about... Draft Day.

Yep, its that day of the year when I will watch this movie again haha

Go Browns!!!

Surprises....seems like the Raiders taking Ferrell (that early) and the Giants taking Daniel Jones at 6th overall, were the biggest surprises.

Everyone is wondering about Josh Rosen - - kind of curious why the Giants didn't try to pick him up for a lot less than their #6 overall picks. Is his attitude that toxic?

And then there is Tyreek Hill and how his 3-year old son managed to break his arm. What do you think from the audio recording?

pleased with skins 1st day,was dreading the thought of overpaying to move up to grab a QB but got haskins at 15 and sweat will start and if his heart is good he will be productive in that defence

QBs are always a crap shoot - - in large part because it's highly dependent on the players and coaching system around them. That said, taking Haskins at #15 overall without mortgaging the future to trade up seems like a good move. Honestly, I'm not sure why #1 Kyle Murray or #6 Jones are anymore likely to be successes in the pros. Murray has talent, but can Phx put enough pieces around him in the next 2 years - - or is he just destine to be a bust?

A QB needs so much more than himself to be successful nowadays more than ever. I have never been convinced on Murray,a fantastic athlete, yes. A fantastic QB I am less sure of.

Happy enough the Niners got Bosa although I was not bothered if they took him or Williams as both look likely to be studs.

Greedy Williams opposite Ward looks like a good deal for the Browns.

Murphy to Cards opposite Peterson in Rd 2 was a good pick however as both Taylor and Little were available at OT and the OL was so dire last year I do wonder whether that would have been a smarter pick.

DK Metcalf who everyone was drooling over post combine lasting to Bottom of the second was a surprise as I thought someone would jump much higher on him. Cant help but miss Al Davis for whom at Pick 4 he would have been a lock in!!

Rosen attitude stems from media portrayal of him coming from a privileged background and having liberal views. Slating Rosen generates money. Football is a working class blue collar game. Rosen hate appeals to the masses in the same way as Trumps rhetoric resonates with enough of the masses. I think Rosen will be fine in the right market with the right support.

As for Hill, I can't make a call. I work as a Detective in a Child Abuse team and all I can say is these jobs can be so difficult and things in reality are often way different to how they appear at first. I could give countless examples of what at first appears to be really disturbing information where your immediately on edge and have that feeling in your gut that this is serious only for you to eventually realise that there was absolutely nothing at all to be concerned about and nothing untoward in the slightest.

Miami got the best QB "in this draft" with their 2nd round pick

As for my Browns, love their 2nd (williams -cb), 3rd (takitaki- lb) and 4th (redwine - s) round picks.

In Dorsey we trust

Mack Wilson (lb) in the 5th round
