My backside will be parked in a seat for the San Antonio Commanders vs Memphis Express on Apr 6th. My son by my side. Will try to remember to photo op. San Antonio set an attendance record this last weekend with over 30K people showing up for the game.

Yes, but it's open whether that will help them.

Yes, what kind of investors do handle business that way?
If I would create such a league I would have the money for at least 1 full season in the pocket, better 5 to build up the product. What was their plan? 'Oh, 50.000 people will come to see the Not-NFL-players play, of cause and they will buy a lot of merch and who is not in the stadium will stream the games as premium and of cause the NFL will bow to us and will grant us 1 phantastillion in money so we keep the playing slot after the NFL season and we will crack the Indian and Chinese market with 3 billion viewers and after half a season we get Alpha Centauri on top ....' Idiots. |

Its a little more involved than that. A n investor wanted to have things done their way, the league refused, the investor pulled out. That's just on the surface, a lot of other things happened too.
Either way, the game I was supposed to see this Saturday, isn't happening. But, thankfully, San Antonio led the league in attendance at games. Hopefully that will put us in the front of the line for a team in a new system. |

Yes, unfortunately the league folded. Was going to the SD Fleet game on April 14th...but I guess that's not going to happen.
It sounded like the TV ratings were a bit soft and one of the major investors never came through with the funds. Steve SD Blitz |

Sure, there were things in the back happening, but that's is very unprofessional und sounds like kindergarden.
