I've been tracking the experience of my players fairly closely and found some pretty extreme cases.
In 8,158 plays and 78 friendlies this guy has increased his experience by 0.5* once going from 2.5* to 3* now. In 653 plays and 35 friendlies this guy has increased his experience by 0.5* twice going from 3.5* to 4.5* now. Anybody found players gaining EXP much faster or slower than average? PS: I understand that EXP is rounded up or down but that doesn't explain such a huge difference. |

Pete changed the EXP gainin two points some seasons ago.
First was that only one position brings full EXP, every other position brings only a little bit near nothing, like training after the red cap. Second was an age depending EXP gain, the older the less. If I look at these two players it seems it have a lot more influence than most thought. |

It came with the changes in season 25, but it isn't mentioned particularly.

It was not a change it was always in the engine but not in the manual:
Pete's Explaination If you have a player play loads of snaps (Offense, Defense and ST) he will not gain as much Experienece as if he would have played that amount of snaps in 3 games just on defense |

And the guy who's gaining experience slowler than average isn't playing too many plays per game either I don't think, he barely ever gets 90 plays in a game including O, D and ST. |

Here's another example I am confused about.
My starting QB I bought him with 3*EXP and 3,010 plays. He hit 3.5*EXP after 6,315 plays + 80 Friendlies He hit 4*EXP after 8,350 plays + 103 Friendlies (2,035 plays + 23 Friendlies for 0.5*) He hit 4.5*EXP after 13,396 plays + 165 Friendlies (5,046 plays + 62 Friendlies for 0.5*) Yesterday he just hit 5*EXP after 17,036 plays + 199 Friendlies (3,640 plays + 34 Friendlies for 0.5*) Anybody else has experienced something like this? |
