I do never train PC in YA, since I get extra (usually, if you have players with TW high enough, like 35+) and training in YA is better spend on other skills.
If they have not 100% when reaching regular roster, they are trained up to 100% very fast, if need. But since even the young ones do spend eventually seasons until they make the regular roster, they can even there get extra PC on rollover. |

If I set in an offensive playbook pass /all direction the QB
1) chooses a direction randomly 2) chooses the best skilled receiver 3) tries to pass to the best placed receiver 4) doesn't need punting skill |

I would expect 1)
2) would very often result in the same side, if the depth chart and fitness settings are not very substitution friendly. 3) would result in more completed passes than a playbook selection. Last edited on 2019-07-31 19:15:34 by jack6 |

Thank you very much for your feedback I think your explanation is very very good I also supposed 1) not only because is the easiest solution to code. I write my playbooks trying to guess where are my best receivers and I hope this is not wasted time and it would be funny if choosing "all direction" gave better results. My last doubt is relate to the energy I read your guide and as expected is reported that lower energy value at the end of the game will require for the player an higher amount of PC training. What about in your opinion the effect of a low value of energy during the game. Does a player performance decrease in some way during the game in relation of the energy value? So let me say if I use only one QB he performs better in the 1Q than in the 4Q or OT? thanks in advance pj Last edited on 2019-08-01 08:26:03 by PJRAVENS |

TRAIT math
Suppose a player has SPE=50 + Track Star Track Star: This player is a natural speedster. Track Star gives a 5% bonus to the speed attribute except for OL, DL, K and P. We know that players skills start from 75% and that SPE=50 means + 25% for a total amount of SPE=100% Track star means 1) Total amount of SPE=105% so base 75% + SPE=60 (+30%) 2) SPE=50 + 5% so SPE=52.5 and so Total amount of SPE=101.25% 3) punters do not need speed |

I think it's 2.
In the wording it says 'Track Star gives a 5% bonus to the speed attribute' which to me would imply it's a 5% bonus to 50SPD. |

I can agre with you … but I chose the only trait with the word "attribute" Strong arm: This player has quite an arm. His strength and passing get a bonus of 5% Brick Wall: Stop them in their tracks! Brick Wall gives a 5% bonus to tackling for DL |

I thought "all direction" would be the best option, trying to find the best completion option based on QB Intelligence and Vision skills and time for the pass. Limiting the directions was more a option to avoid playing in the direction of the best defenders of the opponent. Last edited on 2019-08-01 12:09:02 by LuLuBa |
