I will play to win but hoping I won't. A 73 rated team in the Elite would be torn apart. Also it seems I will have to defeat Devon first before facing you. Things I could not do so far.

Keep it up ! aim high! In S33 I started in elite with an overall of 74.8% I achieved a 10-6 and I risked to not relegate. Of course you need also a big amount of luck, but why be scared? If you decide to create a Légion étrangère in your army you can buy in the TM at the end of the current season for a cheap price four or five full developed reinforcement giving them just a one year (expensive) contract and play your cards. It is not really about being scared. More about about having fun. The level in Elite seems to me higher than before. There are so many sup 80 teams now. And I still do not have a kicker. He will arrive next season and will need one more year to perform. Until then I am ok to be just decent in the PO.

What I wanted to say is that if only you want you can have and elite competitive team in the blink of an eye. I think YOU can be competitive against 80% overall with a 76/77% overall team. |

Alexmi will be hugely frustrated when watching this match. Leading from the 5th minute in the first quarter until 50 seconds before the end. As happy as I am I know he must be hugely disappointed.
Please keep working at your team. You may only get thru to the playoffs with a wild card. but once there you can kick anyone out of their season, including my team. La Spezia is one of teams I have problems to play against.Somehow my defense does not have a real grip on his offense. My offense did fine. I was not happy with some decisions of my PB that caused two turnovers on 4th. |

Let's see if I can't spark a little conversation. With almost everyone having played half their season (and a few 9-game teams out there), here are my mid-season Power Rankings
The Favorites 1. Leeds Celtics (8-0): beat Marife and Devon 2. Munich Runners (9-0): unchallenged outside of close win against La Spezia The Contenders 3. Michigan State Spartans (8-0): close win against Schrodingers and Beast 4. Alpin Ducks (8-0): cruised to a win against La Spezia, close win against Verona 5. Schrodingers Cats (7-1): close loss to MSU, close win against La Spezia 6. Marife-Lacion (6-2): losses to Leeds and Redcoats (?); beat Devon and crushed Rainbow Warriors and Verona 7. Devon Warriors (6-2): narrow loss to Marife, crushed Verona The Challengers 8. Rainbow Warriors (6-2): both losses not close against divisional rivals and won a close one against Redcoats but destroying everyone else 9. Old England Redcoats (4-4): slow start with close losses to the Warriors (Devon and Rainbow), but 4-1 since including a win against Marife...in a weaker division, they would be competing for first place 10. Wasteland Wolves (7-2): beat Bautzen, losses to MSU and Schrodingers 11. SH Cougars (6-2): holds a win against La Spezia, but not much else 12. La Spezia Sprugoleans (4-4): impressive in losses against Munich and Schrodingers, but the losses are starting to pile up; the loss to SH Cougars could mean missing the playoffs 13. Idrosburghi Verona (5-3): didn’t look very good in three losses to start the season against quality competition, but has run off five straight including wins over Bern Marcupilamis and Bautzen 14. Croxley Crocs (5-3): won a thriller against Skalica Eagles; all three losses against Contenders and Favorites 15. Skalica Eagles (5-3): hard to get a read on this team so far with the close loss to the Crocs and a win against Bautzen 16. Bautzen Greywolves (4-4): pulled out a close one against Marsz!; four losses all against teams with winning records 17. The Beast (4-4): trails HighTowers in PD tie-breaker, but beat ulero head-to-head, so being included as a Challenger as the likely NC West division winner; all four losses against playoff-caliber teams, but all were blowouts, too Better Luck Next Season 18. Gdansk Redskins (3-5): disappointing season so far, but a near miss against Leeds and a win against Marsz! 19. Konjarnik HighTowers (4-4): right now, I think we are all thankful ulero seems to have reconsidered leaving the game and looks to be doing a rebuild instead; leads a weak division with best win coming against SH Cougars 20. Naprzód Marsz! (5-4): best wins against Paris Rioters and Bern 21. Bern Marcupilamis (5-3): best win a 6-pointer against the Rioters and four wins against bots 22. Paris Rioters (2-6): dominated the HighTowers, but has struggled with everyone else 23. Wall Street Gunners (1-7): this is a tough league on rookies, but the Gunners managed a win against the Cubs and played the HighTowers to a narrow loss 24.
