So the hard drive on our DVR went out and pretty much the whole tv wasn't working over the weekend - so I went old school and popped in a DVD in for the kids.
I forgot how great a move the The Empire Strikes Back was...definitely one of the best of the Star Wars movies. Reasons to love it... 1. Huth is cool...plus the AT-AT's 2. Yoda first appears on Dagobah (another cool plant) 3. Carbonite freezing (is this safe on children?) 4. Lando / Billy Dee Williams is just a cool character 5. Lots of Chewbacca and the Millennium Falcon 6. CP3O gets what he deserves (annoying droid) 7. Could use more of Boba Fett - - but again a really cool character comes on the scene 8. Luke confronts Vadar (and the Emperor) - Darth reveals he's Luke's father. Great scene. 9. No cheesy happy ending.... Steve SD Blitz |

After all those years now .... Carrie Fisher doesn't act very well in the 1st movie and got better with 2nd and 3rd.
Natalie Portman was good in the 1st and went downhill in the 2nd and 3rd. |
