I am in the middle of thinking a little bit through this. What happens if
1st) one of the teams goes bot? The trophy stays in that case it was, and that's it, but the rivalry itself comes off, so the rivalry challenging team gets a new challenge chance? 2nd) there is no official game scheduled between these two teams? Should we extend this to friendly games, maybe? I mean, if both teams know it is about the challenge, why should they play strange games in their friendly? And, shouldn't we raise the number of chances up to two per team? Any danger from that? Last edited on 2019-11-19 21:28:50 by pete |

I figured if a team went bot it would reset, as it were, to the original team to be renamed and reassigned, if they want to rename it? I like the idea of being able to keep trophies if the creating team goes bot, but could get annoying if someone starts making multiple accounts just to "collect" trophies? I don't know why they'd bother, but people are odd
Friendly games makes sense

I find it a bit hard to tackle.
So I have 2 chance to create a rivalry. Fine. Can I rest a rivalry? Like some rivalries in college do? Or is that bound to. The regular schedule? Can I create a new one if one is rested? What happens if then the old one can be played again? I also don't like the 'removal' part of the trophy, if there is not some kind of new rivalry trophy case. I mean I would like to see my accomplishments of the past, so if it is removed i can't see it, right? My 2 Cents: you can create a rivalry per season until 1 gameday, for a game happening in that season. Every official game counts and gets registered in a special rivalry trophy case. If a game can not be played in the next season at season start, the rivalry is rested, but can become active during playoffs. You can have only 10 rivalries with actives teams, including rested ones. If a team fall bot, the rivalry ends and the still active team, can create a new one next season,if now under 10 rivalries. A rivalry can be ended with both teams accepting it, or one team goes bot. An ended rivalry stays in the trophy room. A setup rivalry has to go at least 5 seasons. Last edited on 2019-11-20 09:38:49 by jack6 |

I think just regular and post season. Not supercup, friendlies or friendly cup. though supercup maybe, as a team may drop to division 2. im torn on that one.
2 is a good idea too and yes if one goes bot i would think it would be fair for that rivalry to reset so the originator can then allocate it elsewhere. |
