I don't know if this has been suggested before, but if it hasn't, it should have been. It would be nice if, in creating your playbook, you could specify which LB you want blitzing. Right now it's just a general LB blitz %. It would be beneficial for you to have two options, OLB blitz % and MLB blitz %. Maybe it doesn't work in the game engine, but if it does it would be nice to have.

Interesting...
Would you mind give more details?
What it would be the difference in term of pro and cons between an OLB or MLB blitz apart put your best pass rusher LB as MLB and ask to blitz MLB 100%...

Say you're running a 4-3 set against some formation with 4 receivers (some combination of WRs, TEs, and RBs who run routes in Flexbone), and you want to blitz your linebackers, but you don't want to expose your passing defense too much. In this scenario, I would want my MLB to do the blitzing and my OLBs to drop back into pass coverage to cover the slot receivers. This way I can ensure that every receiver is accounted for while still putting extra pressure on the QB.

Another scenario is let's say you're facing a Wishbone formation, and want to put extra pressure on the edges of the formation, where a high percentages of runs from that formation occur. You want your OLB to blitz so he has a better chance to get an unblocked shot at the ball carrier. You don't want your MLB to blitz so he can be there as a safety valve in case your OLB misses the tackle or is blocked by the FB.

Those are the scenarios I would be talking about. Right now you have no control over which linebacker blitzes, which could turn a good place to blitz into a very bad play for you because the wrong player blitzes.

I think the logistics of it could work similarly to how it does now, just separate the OLB from the MLB in the playbook blitzing settings.

In real life football it works, but in RZA things seems to me to be a little bit different.
I think in RZA we have a pure zone difese.
If a LB blitzes leaves an hole ....

First situation
I think a receiver can exploit also the MLB blitzing hole.
You cannot set in the offensive playbook for inside passes "middle left" toward OLB right, "middle" toward MLB, "middle left" toward OLB left but only "middle".
Adding this options it would be nice but in RZA the defense have to guess what the offese will do in advance before the game starts.
More option has the offense more difficult is for the defense to guess and like this we could not find a way to setup a defense at all.

Second situation
In RZA I have never seen a blitzing LB make a TFL against a ball carrier...
I think he tryes only to sack the QB....
If I suppose a rushing play I do not blitz at all ...
