The playoffs picture seems quite interesting for AC North with at least 3 teams with a chance of participating in playoffs. It is possible that 2 teams from our Division will receive a Wild card, considering that the currently the closest team, the Lions, will face a brutal 3-match stretch with the Leopards, the Hornets and the Bruisers. That schedule is a killer. Meanwhile in NC West every single team has the same win ratio. That will be a wild ride as it seems that anything can happen. |

2 exciting games later today worth looking at.
West Geatish Warriors vs Leverkusen Leopards, both teams on 9-1 and looking for the win to give them home field advantage in the playoffs. Leopards have the better record (3-0 in the league) and the experience to overcome the Warriors. I will go with the Leopards to win this, they know how to get results in crunch games and have the talent to achieve this. 27-34 win for the Leopards Midnight Marauders vs Berinsfield Hornets, again both teams on 9-1 and the Hornets have a better record with 2 league wins. This will be a close game as the teams push for the playoffs. Both teams should win their divisions, but who will get the 1st round bye alongside the Black Panthers, who are the first team to clinched their division. I have to go with my team, but this could go to the Marauders. 31-24 win for Marauders 
Honourable mention game Burnaby Bruisers vs Park Ridge Owls, both with a 7-3 record and both will need a win to get a spot in the playoffs. The Owls are in the toughest division with all 4 teams on 7-3, so a loss could be a disaster. The Bruisers did beat the Malacok's in the last game and now need the win to keep up the hopes of another playoff run. I think the Bruisers will win as they have a better record against the Owls in the league (4-2), but its a must win for the Owls and they will fight to the end. 19-9 win for the Bruisers Last edited on 2020-07-15 13:08:02 by kharton99 |

2 exciting games for the weekend
Florida Gators vs Poznan Knights - both teams are 8-3, both in AC North, both teams looking to be division champion, so it will be battle of epic proportions. The Gators have a 7-4 win record against the Knights, but the power seems to be shifting to Poznan. I will say the Knights will win this. Space Kraken vs Paxtang Black Panthers - The Kraken need a win as they are 8-3 in the toughest division, but the Black Panthers are a tough nut to crack. They are favourites to return to the elite league where they believe they belong. Black Panthers have a 0-2 win record against the Kraken, so its not all doom and gloom for them. Really sad to see the Owls go bot. Garf and I had a great rivalry and I was always extra nervous playing his team. Evidence being his epic comeback in the playoffs 2 seasons ago. Hopefully he will return.

Was shocked to get the W against the Hornets honestly, we scrimmed right at the beginning of the season and I got mollywhopped, and I was missing a bit of chem from the SC loss to the Kraken the day before. I guess "any given Sunday" (or Tuesday in this case)?
