After 6 season I think you can reach easily level 40 skills but what about EXP?
I do not want to pay his wage as he were a good player and have a player with very low exp...

As far as I understood, INT and Experience play a role when negotiating contracts, therefore I consider them as "skills with cost".
I have players out of the Academy with similar skillset that have slightly different contract numbers and it seems that the only relevant difference is in INT and EXP.
Look into those two juniors :
Angelico Damiani
Vico Ricotti

It is a matter of evaluating if the in-game benefits of high experience are worth the extra cost or not and that's really hard to understand.
I have comparable performance stats among players with close skill levels and different experience values (at least an half star)

Duilio Bellini

Pita Alatasi (more experience and 8 points less in carrying)

Duilio Bellini FB 11 326 42 310 7.4 1 0 0 8
Pita Alatasi FB 11 283 28 161 5.8 5 0 0 5

My conclusion is: Experience counts, but it's not a game changer

I agree with you on both the situation you reported.

My point I tryed to explain was different.
If you promote to a senior team a player 21 you picked in the YA when he was 20 yo (so he spent less than a season in the YA) for what I have seen in the last two years of real life, you will have a 21yo with EXP 1*, 1.5* maximum 2* if you are lucky.
If I promote to a senior team a player picked from the pull at 16/17 yo I promote a 21yo player with EXP min 3* usually 3.5 sometimes 4*
We are talking about an average difference of minimum EXP 2*
I pay 18M x season for the premium YA I want train players for more than a season, otherwise I would waste money...
Second point
The wage formula is known. Let the HR apart for this purpose.
A player with the average of the max two skills at 40 has a wage of more or less 88375$
The EXP rise a little bit this value but for what I saw less than 5%, so peanuts.
My point is that a player with level 40 skills, on the field has level 40 skills only with EXP=5*
If his EXP is 2* he has not level 40 but less...
How much less... only Pete knows.
So you are pratically paying for a player that seems he has 40 skills but he hasn't.
More his skills are high more you are overpaying and wasting money.
So I always try to have player with EXP 4* or better when they skills reach level 40.

Experience salary cost was originally planned to max at 20% for Exp=50 (ie. a fully maxed 5*, not just one "showing" 5 stars due to rounding.)

But if you check the change logs, Pete increased it again 4-5 months later, summer 2017. Due to Int factoring into negotiations, there's two unknowns now - but considering Int doesn't change, we could probably ball park it by tracking the growth of someone from say 3* to 5* experience, against what the old formula would have given.

That's a lot of math, for something I'm not terribly concerned about. I just assume they'll be about 25% more expensive than the old formula, with 5* XP now. I'm guessing the on field performance is similar, it would be odd if Pete had made being more experienced technically a negative - compared to a raw, but higher skill proportionally player.

If I am not mistaken, Pete did cap the xp factor to +20%. He just increased gradually up to this limit over several seasons.

"Experience factor for player salaries raised again, final now"

I believe you're correct, was misreading that entry. Pretty sure that was just to say they had hit the full final phase in at 20% for a 5*.
