Because I am really bad in planning my training. This is one of the reasons I am rebooting, as I wasn't getting the motivation anymore to really spend time on this.
A new start and squad will help I think. |

So today is the final day of the Amersfoort Alligators.
It has proven harder than expected to get to this point. I found myself struggling to really put everything into motion. I started this team in S17 but my first full season was S18. Since then my record has been 230-160 (incl Thunder 2 and Elite). I spend a whopping $573,251,853 on the transfer market. Most of it not very wisely so 
I did recoup $175,252,612 by selling players which was a lot more than I had guessed myself. My most favourite player is probably still QB Ting Chavalit as he was my first franchise QB. Honourable mention goes to QB Nader Qasem who was going to be the best QB ever until I forgot to renew his contract with 39 other players. That event led me on the path that has ended here now  (Ting has never been eligible somehow for my Hall of Fame).
With the demise of the Alligators I got another bit of news to share with you all. I was contacted by a friend of mine in another region and he proposed that I should switch to a new region with my new team. He made a compelling case and I told him I would consider it. I've thought about this very long and very hard and I've decided to take him up on the offer which will mean that the Deventer Devils will be a team in the Dragons region. Part of the reason I made this decision, is that it really means now that I am really really starting from scratch again, something that appealed to me. However that is part of the reason. The other is that my friend and I will try to breath new life into that forum again, something you know me to be passionate about (although I've not been as active as I used to be!). I know that Thunder is in very good health in that respect and I can leave you all behind knowing it to be OK and that Thunder still thrive. The challenge for me is to make Dragons as fun as it is here and then perhaps to make it just that little bit more likely for new managers to stick around so RZA's decline will slow down just that little bit. So this is a bigger good bye than I had first imagined. Of course Thunder will always be in my heart and I'll still be in the forums as well. It is still and will always be the best group of managers in RZA!

I never thought that would be a possibility as every league 2 has BOTs I thought :-( There are two BOT teams in Dragons 1 so after the BOT flush I will create a new team which means I will remain with this account until then. We need good teams spread out throughout all of the leagues as well. Some leagues (not sure about Dragons) are just not up to par with Thunder in terms of strong teams throughout the entire league. I hope there are really good teams as well there!
