When I did again stumble on more or less interesting youtube videos regarding Star Wars explainations I did remember a mystery which does haunt me since years.
If you did see 'Return of the Jedi' you do likely remember the scene in the death star when the Emperor did start torturing Luke with the force lightnings. I'm very sure that ONCE I saw a version (I think in german television) where this scene was longer. Usually it goes like this: But I did see a version which does include a scene starting at that above video at 1:16+ which does shows Luke attempt to BLOCK the lightning with some force explanation and then his failure to do so. Then comes the emperor at roughly 1:20+ and it goes further. It makes absolutly sense to have the scene it it, but you can not see it anywhere. What really puzzles me is, I can't even find a single hint on that scene. NONE. But I'm sure I saw it somewhere in the 90s. Does anyone remember that scene? |

Yes, I think I do. I checked some youtube scenes, but they are all similar to the one you posted already
